Im sick of the Big Brother, it is a complete and utter waste of television.
Also, I hate this pseudo-lesbian shit they call porn these days, 'we live together', yeah, when you're playing characters on a set that is.

You apparently failed to even get the core of the movie. Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen is not intended to be the next deep, insightful, philosophically enhanced whatever. The entire point of the movie is to blow stuff up while giant robots duke it out in Egypt.vampirehunter42 wrote:To me of what I have seen of this (and the first) movie is a much overused CGI commercial for the different products the transformers change into. And for the few moments Michael Bay is able so somewhat keep the camera still, they are lingering shots on Megan Fox showing off all she can in a PG - 13 rated film.
So I see it as a "boob movie" in a long line of overused CGI films. I agree CGI can really make a movie look great, but after a while it depletes from the core of the movie.
lol even I was a little disappointed with it.vampirehunter42 wrote:(I don't wish to start about that Godzilla movie.........)
Well I'm a mixture of 1, 2, and 3. I like all types of movies, even the occasional chick flick once every other three years. I've been raised in an environment where a person should widen their horizon instead of sticking to one thing. With that said, it appears that you only went to see the movie to just give it a chance. Even though for you it ended in epic failure, all statements made are more or less true. My guess is that you were just giving it a shot, am I right?vampirehunter42 wrote:My main problem with movies that spend more time and effort on making it look cool, are making us spend a lot of money for what you can now just buy on a gaming counsel.
I see movies like a cake:
1. Some people like the cake, and maybe some icing for extra flavor.
like some people like their movies with a lot of plot, strong acting and maybe some minor effects to bring you into the movie.
2. Some people like their cake with a single layer of icing with no need for extras like flowers and things like that.
The same with movies, some people are like above but are willing to give up some plot or acting for a heavier amount of effects.
3. And some people like their cake with a ton of icing with a bunch of extra things put on top of it adding just to the look.
And it is the same with movies, some people will look for something to look good. And care nothing about acting, plot or anything else like that.
I fit somewhere in 1 to 2, I'll be safe at saying 1.5. I need plot, and acting that is more than someone just repeating their lines.

Well it is a little more than bureaucracy. (but that is a lot to it)DragonRider wrote: The bureaucracy at NASA. We could have been at Eridani and Tau Ceti by now, if they didn't waste so much money on useless jobs. Granted, that also makes me rant about the politics of it all.
And so it does.vampirehunter42 wrote:Yea, I moved my movie gripeing to this thread. I thought it fit more here.
Ah, I see. That is so very true.vampirehunter42 wrote:Don't get my wrong. I have my junk food side of movies as well. I just love old B movies. Bad acting, little to no plot, bad special effects and so on. But those are for the pure point of watching something that is bad. Well truth be told, I will watch a preview and read up on the plot line before I go to watch a movie. And I like to read movie reviews like Roger Ebert's if I am still questioning it. If more than 2 of those things turn me off of the movie I know it is not of my tastes. For example I am one of the few people who does not like Forrest Gump. I have watched the movie a number of times, and the only thing that got me through it was Hanks' acting. He was really great in that movie, along with most of the other actors. But the plot and story line was just too much for me. My suspension of disbelief was so horribly broken not even halfway through the movie I lost all want to even try anymore.
But as Blue Tiger posted, the target audience is what makes a movie. If the majority of the people want to see one type of movie that is what they will make.
