ohh don't do that to yourself! you may not be a very good artsist now, but you have potential, and with hard work, you'll be awesome in no time! this drawing is really pretty, and you should be proud of your efforts. We were all cruddy one time or another!

yeh.......altho i drew this about a month ago........or when i first came to dragnix.

just practise and work on details. pay attention and play with mediums and techniques. All it is is work and time. No one is simply born with talent, all artists need to work at their skills. I've posted some older drawings that weren't so good, and on DA I posted one from when I was 7. its fun seeing how I've excelled. In a few years you'll have some cool skillz and look back on this drawing.

i like the way you make your fire!

This is really good aqua!! The head and the bady and the legs and tail are nice, as well as the colorful and slightly abstract background. It creates a cool feeling. One thing about the wings is that they are sort of like arms and hand and fingers. The wing joing comes off the shoulder, and it has some muscle mass, though this changes between artists. Then there is an elbow joint, which sometimes has a finger, and sometimes doesn't. then the wing/arm gets skinnier and skinnier until you get to the "hand". The hand is really the meeting place of the fingers and thumb. The "thumb"(which is normally a large claw) goes toward the head, and the fingers spread out towards the tail. the fingers have one knuckle joint, and a small claw on the end of each. Make the fingers line up approximately where the body turns into the tail. Between the fingers is the web, which makes the wing, and is normally made of a leather-like material. The web then meets the body around where a horses hondquarters would be.
