I think makla needs to keep his big mouth shut! - this is great! - I wonder how long it took to shade it?
i didn't say this was a bad picture! i just pointed out something that brings it down a step!
Maybe it's curling its lip?
Hmmmm, maybe it's because of the papper being kinda wriklely

perfection is hard to achieve, this is pretty close and I love it!
*kicks balcour* greatness and perfection are relative, if you don't understand that, really, DON"T call anything even close to perfect unless everyone else agrees
None can know perfection, unless they have achieved it themselves, and even then, they would need to know that they have achieved it in order to recognize it. Additionally, if they were to claim perfection theirs, then all they would be doing would be proving their imperfection. Thus, when someone states that something is close to perfect, all that they can mean is that it is as close to perfect as they have seen.
*nods head* that's correct, Silientiea
Greatness and perfection are related, but are not homogeneous, a thing can be great and be far from perfect, and a thing can be perfect and be far from great. Submitted for your approval: The perfect good deed. In the opinion of most theologians, that would be a most simple thing, few would be those who noticed it, and thus, it would not be a great thing. The great kings of the past. Many have claimed that a king or queen is great, Tutankhamen for example, but he obviously was not perfect, because he died. The Prophet rests.

don't push it, bud. just plain and simple perfection isn't attainable but is desired and strived for
It is attainable. It is simply impossible for anyone to attain it that doesn't already have it.
Ouch!! *rubs bum* that hurt, I understand where you are coming from, but you certainly sound as if you know what perfection is. Is that it? You have already achieved perfection on your own? I would love to be able to draw this myself, but I am definatly not perfect!!or even as perfect as this picture is.
I am not perfect. But I know somethree who are.
there is no way to become perfect. no matter what there is always some fault no matter how minor
There is no way to become perfect, but if one was already perfect, then one wouldn't need to become perfect, would one? Or three.

arent there chat rooms on the net 4 your conversations? i thought this site was aimed at allowing us the opportunity of appreciating the talents of all
There probably are, but this is better. In a chat room, your fellows reply immediately; here they reply at their leisure, whenever they happen to be here. And we do appreciate the art, often these conversations stretch from one originally started by the art, as did this most recent one about perfection, if you care to read it.

these brilliant artists. Well..ok guys *friendly tone of voice* im not actually that anal-i well realise that its pretty cool U took the time on the site to have your say(even if we all went off on our own little tangents) heh heh! & as 4 my feedback bout this piece: Love the obvious care & patience taken by the artist, and would like to invite him or her 2 comment(that is-if they havent already done so). & keep those fingers busy id hate the thought of no more of this talent 2 look 4ward 2 appreciating in the future. Nice 1 Bruvva!

you can make even the most mediocre of pictures look fantastic with a little shading or coloring
