It's sort of rude to 'make' someone put your work up, Ferny. Like Delbin said, give him time. He's probably got a life, too.

i used to copy to learn as well and though the book isnt brilliant its thanks to the book that i found this site

copying is better than tracing. and, Aiolos, some people do like that book. i understand the irritation for those people how regard its contents as factual information but for those who just enjoy it because its about dragons... thats nothing to be angry about

I'm not angry about it. I have Dragonology, too. I like it for the dragons and stuff, but I DISlike it for ruining legends. Lots of the things in there are (no offence) pathetic spinoffs of real legends. I could care less if people like dragonology, and I wouldn't hate them for it, as long as they're not being n00bish and reffering to everything like dragonology would.

I'm not making Tempest put my work up, I asked him polietly. Anyways, I hope you guys and girls like it when it's put up. No hard feelings?

@Ferny: Woah, I just received your art a little more than 24 hours ago. I usually try to keep a "uploaded within a week" timetable since all those drawings are manually added to the gallery and I have to make sure that the name of the picture is unique, that the image is not too large (size and compression ratio) or that the drawing is using a standard format (jpeg). All this doesn't take a lot of time but I usually can't upload a drawing right away...

You should see your drawing appears on the gallery tomorrow morning.

For the art: That back leg (the one that's farthest away) is a bit too far back. It sorta looks like it's growing out of his tail

'The book of the dragon' by Monse Sant is a gorgeous book on this subject.It's published by Paper Tiger and I heartily recommend it!I like this picture, but the fact that it was copied (very brave of you to admit that-applauds!) makes me reluctant to comment.Nothing personal-it's just that the dragons inside your head must be scratching at you to get onto the paper!
