Aiolos: Not really, look where the center of mass is located then look where the wings are located. The wings are in the middle of the back instead of being close to the shoulders. While the wings design is not the best anatomical representation, this is not similar to this or that situation where is is obvious that the rear of the dragon would fall toward the ground.

Keehee, that's true. But, since the wing is in the MIDDLE of the body, the front AND back would fall towards the ground. Hang butt/head dragon! Ah, I get on everyone's case for hang-buttness.

wouldn't the wings be a bit light, considering they are needed to FLY? if not, the dragon WOULDN'T even get off the ground, and the weight would be concentrated WHERE THE WINGS ARE, so the front and back would go UP in the air.

An image is worth a thousand words. This is a trapezist (obviously), he is able to stand horizontal. However, you can see it's not exactly the ideal situation, it does require efforts to maintain that position and so would wings attached over a small part of the back. Moveover the "hang butt" effect is amplified by the flapping of the wings, to the extreme (like in the image of the red dragon above) flying would be like to have a rope tied around you below the shoulder and having someone pulling it at regular interval (to simulate a dragon flapping his wings).
So, all this to say that generally speaking it makes more sense to say that having the wings connected over a large part of the back is better than having wings connected over a small portion of the back.

ooo i like bamboo! *takes out a piece of bamboo* i got this when i visited by buds in China!!!!! i have a whole bunch of bamboo in my zen garden in my area of Ra's palace. it's a geat place to meditate and release any tensions and bad thoughts you might have. you could join me sometime!

i would love to join you some time ive actually been wanting to meditate for a while since i met someone who meditates at the larp and while he was meditating once he had been able to see the whole plot of the next event so at the event he had seen he would sit there and say that a group of monsters would walk out of GC(games control)and to the place they were needed in 5 minutes and he was right and he hadnt talked to any of plot team or anything

i dont know y they remind u of bamboo but i am gonna start drawing my wings and feet diferently

More old stuffs, Im going to critique my own pictire XDD ohk, Head is to big, legs are to thin and flimsy, the mouth is juts...AGH demented XDD, the wings...now the wings would be extreamly difficult to fly with (look at the shape of them, not much movement), and they would be extreamly easy to break...geez, what was I thinking XDDD
