Everybody is leaving What will happen to Dragnix if there is nobody to post new pictures or simply to chat ? This website needs more than a few people just glancing and disappearing without any word. Dragnix made me discover the artistic community on the internet, I've met great people here, people I had fun with, people who helped me, people who became good friends. Yes, there is still DA, but it will never be the same, it's too grand, too huge, too anonymous. Dragnix will always be special to me, it's the first place on the net where I really found people who would listen to me and help me, and I don't want this place to die.

I know lets both post journals on DA and tell the fellow dragnixians to come back *nods* I admit this is the first site I had ever really got on. and it encouraged me to keep drawing and improving, since my mom is alwas putting my drawings down and saying is worthless junk. This site with its ecouraging users and motivational art and not to mention the most AWESOME king of he forum Tempest I shall not ever leave this site I promise n.n This oldie is here to stay n.n

I'm coming back. I see that this little corner of the internet is basically my root website, though I had a dA first, I liked the people a lot more here and they were generally nicer. So I'm announcing my official return to Dragnix!

dragnix was also one of my first sites (gmail and runescape were the other two) and it was the first place where I could actually post my art. I love that on dragnix, nobody is ignored, and wether you are amazing like raven, or you don't even draw at all, everyone here knows you, and accepts you as a friend. *has decided* I will come to dragnix more often from ow on. but I was not lying about this site making my computer slow, so I won't be the consistant member that I used to be.

YAY! and yeah my comp runs slow on it too i often have to stop the loading of the last comments tab or it locks the browser up... depending on the browser.. on netscape it just has script errors and then on I.E it locks up sometimes... probably just a little bug

I don't think it's a computer problem as I'm currently accessing this site with a decade old computer. It's probably a browser issue.
MIE 6.0 loads the "last comments" page in 78 sec
Seamonkey 2.0.4 loads the same page in about 8 seconds.
Also, official support for Netscape ended on March 1st, 2008, and Seamonkey have a Netscape-ish look so it may be worth giving it a try. Same for MIE 6.0 that is still widely installed on older computers but the browser is 9 years old and bound to have incompatibility issues.

So far, this issue seems to affect only the "Last Comments" page. Pages with a lot of comments (such as the first "Test" image) are loading instantly even with MIE 6.0 while before they weren't loading at all. So in solving one problem it created another elsewhere. Yes, the Last Comments page has a problem (it loads slowly when the page should appear instantaneously) and I will do my best to fix this problem but this may take some time. If you want to help me, post your browser version and the time it takes to load the "last comments" page and if this issue only affect this page (which I think it is).

Update: Since I know that many of you use the "Last Comments" page to see if there was activity on the gallery, the home page should now display the last 4 comments posted, it not much but it should help to alleviate the problem.

ah, mkay. ^^; and true, I can load the pictures rather quickly, while the last comments page is still super slow. I'll go back and time it. It takes exactly 1 minute, and I use internet exploere 8, if that helps. ^^

that addition is so awesome tempest! I can load the pages and such rather quickly too even with slow snail internet speed. lol i knew Netscape was outdated XD

Hey that's great, thanks Tempest! I don't have any problem with the last comments page, I just had problems to log in a few weeks ago but it's seems to be solved now.

This dragon reminds me of Haku from Spirited Away. I really like it! Naryu im sooo glad glad your still gonna come to dragnix, I can't go on DA with my computer anyway, sorry i've been gone so long, and i'll be comming back more regularly from now on.
