Yeah, it is definitely one of my sadder stories, still, I am very proud of it. Even so, I want criticism, so please tell me what you think and what I could have changed or added perhaps to make it better. (Know that I could have made the girl escape and get free, but that would have turned a short story into a novel and I didn't want to do that.)

Also, don't beat yourself up over writing style, it's perfectly fine to have different writing styles, and I'm sure you can write very beautiful stories as well. ^-^" I just had like a whole year's worth of straight practice on short-story writing, and like a stroke of genius inspiration that doesn't come but once every couple years or so, so trust me, most of my work is not nearly that good. It just takes a lot of practice.

I'm glad you like it though. @Tempest: I know you are a brain attached to a computer, but you're generally pretty good at critiquing things, so what are your thoughts on it?

Well, see, the thing is is that if it DIDN'T have a dark ending, and if she DID escape, then it would turn into a flipping novel, and I couldn't do that.

I don't know really..... Did you click download? It should do it.... but I could try to put it on you tube... I tried it and it took a little while for it to pop up I think when I first put it on there.... oh it might take a couple clicks on the download thing it it keeps saying it can't load it or something.... it also opens it in Windows Media Player, but this was like a bad one I might do another one that isn't so sucky.....

@Rana: I have read your story carefully, so here's my comments about it;

First the way you told the story is very good. It's descriptive writing and in terms of emotion and psychological process, things couldn't be better. The ending is sad but it ends the story on an emotional high point. There is less description around the surrounding and the character themselves however, but it can be a style.

However, one thing I can say that should probably be changed is the usage of all caps words. It tends to break the style, it goes from something more book-like to internet-like. Onomatopoeia should probably be replaced by a description too.
