Well, most of anything that anyone knows about dragons is based entirely on logic, and I'm good with logic.

it's not possible to know everything aboud dragons. it's like girls, no matter how much you learn about them they're still going to surprise you. girls don't even know everything about girls and i have that from a good source

okay, i realize that you can't know everything about dragons. what i meant was anytime one of you mentions anything dragon related -- in this case Eragon -- the rest of you know everything about it. (and i agree about girls. i only have two sisters and five cousins, but they still really confuse me)

I LOVE eragon, and your dragon looks way cooler than the one on the book cover. I didn't really like the cover anyway. The new one on Eldest looks better.

i thought that Eragon was okay (though it's certainly not one of my favorites), but i don't like Eldest at all. i do agree that this dragon is better than the one on the cover.

Has anybody read Eldest? Is it any good? (oh. and makla, you're right about girls. i'm a girl and i still don't understand some things about girls. some girls are just really hard to figure out. but i'm a tomboy anyway, so i probably know more about guys than i do about girls. ain't that sad?!)

Eldest is good, though Makla seems to think that it's plagiarism all around.

looking at the storyline, it's okay (nothing spectacular), but all the new age and buddist-like stuff is kind-of weird. it would be better if it weren't so predictable
|

well, like the 'all lives are equal' sort of menality. i'm all for treating animals kindly, but i certainly wouldn't elevate an animal (a squirrel for instance) to an equal status with, say, Kiluea or Silentiea

I read Eldest, and personally I think it's better than Eragon, though their both two of my favorite books alongside Dark Lord of Derkholm and the Harper Hall Trilogy.

Dragon Lover: Every Inheritance website knows about the third book. It's most likely to come out this fall, it will feature a green dragon looking right on the cover, and is almost 100% going to be called 'Empire'.

Um, I AM a writer too, you know. I know how long it takes to write something. But it only took one year for CP to write Eragon, which is over 300 pages, suggesting that he is a fairly fast writer. It took one year to get the art done after that, and I believa year to find a publisher and get the stuff edited. Then it took one year to actually get it fully PUBLISHED, hence the '4 year' thing.

He didn't, he was lieing. The trailers were made and put on the Superman movie, but they decided to remove them and update them with the newer features. They hadn't even made the trailers (or started Saphira) when Malchios posted that.

i really liked that book and how would eragon fit and the spikes are shorter than that if u read Eldest and whats with da hair but it's a awesome drawing and thats how u see saphira not me but awesome drawing

I don't like the hair, but the rest of it looks cool. O, and the shading on the chest, lower, is a little... um... not smooth. Couldn't find the word... but other than that it looks pretty good.

Have you ever tried drawing halfdragons? I think you'd be pretty good at it, not to mention I'd find interesting to see someone else's interpretation of half dragon.

I note only one flaw with this pic Makla. If this pic is supposed to coodinate with the book, Eragon would not have hurt himself when he rode Saphira the first time with all the fur on the pic that you drew. Other than that, awesome dragon! XD I can't wait to play the game! It's supposed to come out on the 14th or around that time. Anyways, I'm exstatic(sp?) about the movie coming out in December. YAY!!!! Eragon Movie!!!! "laughs to the point of hysteria" "settles down" okay, i'm better now. but still, an ERAGON MOVIE! wOOt!!!!!!

I think ur drawing is really good and it should be replaced with ur drawing. The cover dragon for eragon has no design or anything to, but urs is alot better. NICE DRAWING.
