You have a lot more patience than I do when it comes to using Photoshop. I usually just want to get my stuff done within 3 hours or more. Well done.

hi guys. and no, that not me. If you look carefully, though its faded by the lighting, the eyecrest on that poor creature is red and blue, and is also a completely different shape from mine. My crest looks more like Duria's, only light blue/dark blue and a slight difference in the curve. plus, my charrie is alot prettier Thx everyone else though. The light rays I cheated on with a special brush and most of the lighting in the scene was edited through image adjustments. @Pyrah: I take alot of pride in whatever talent I get. Not all of my pictures take forever though, just the ones I get a couple hours work on. Plus, this was done without a linart so I was blindly painting. The background I did in less than an hour, but the main figures, Duria especially, had to be remodeled and repositioned 20 times and also I had to edit the shading and colors several times, especially when i decided Duria should have stripes. They were done seperately peice by peice, starting with sketched models done on PS and then layers of each body part. the main parts were the body, back leg/arm, tail, dewlap and blades, cloak cuff, cloak, scales, tattoo, and different layers for the eye. The other Varsuit was just body, blades, scales and tail. I did the different parts for an hour or 2 each day I got the chance. If I hadn't done this completely on photoshop, or I just didn't make so many mistakes, I could have finished it in a week or 2. I do enjoy spending so much time on my pictures though. and patience just kind of gets replaced with passion when you really work at it.

not really. I've gotten used to it. I do have alot of patience for my pictures, but only cuz I really enjoy putting in that effort. Also if you've worked at something and had as much fun with it as I do, you tend to just get used to it and it just becomes easier. I can reccomend you some tutorials that break it down some

It is very good, but it's a wee bit to dark to see...

it depends on the computer I guess, because some are brigt enough to pin-point all details while others, especially older models, are dakrer. you can try adjusting your screen if you want, though even I admit it turns up fairly dark and I have lightened the image since for more commercial use on the school website. Its hard working with night scenes
