@Aiolos: Humanity pours around 30 billions metric tons of CO2 in the atmosphere every year... Even if CO2 in small concentration (ppm) isn't deadly or harmful, it's still a good benchmark to determine the quantity of combustion by-products as well as residual uncombusted combustibles that cause many health problems (i.e. the ever present smell of car exhausts in medium to large cities can't be good for you or anyone else). Moreover even if doing something now wouldn't change much in a foreseeable future, this isn't an argument in favor of doing nothing.

Oh no no no, believe me, I'm ALL FOR saving the environment. I'm not saying we should just lounge on our butts and let the planet rot away, I'm just so sick of extremists shoving everything down peoples' throats, and the media overexaggerating the facts. Trust me, in real life, I'm a huge conservationist and would do anything I could to help out. But I don't like how some people are warping the facts and making the problem seem much more severe than it really is, it's a little twisted to me.

I somewhat agree with the both of you, Tempest and Aiolos. I don't give a damn about how the scientists spaz over every little change in the weather, however, I do care about our planet, and personally I think people should be taking better care of it. Here in Utah, we have our mountain ranges that catch all of the exhaust from cars and whatnot and create a layer of smog in the air that won't go away until a good storm or a nice wind blows it off the mountain. What I think is that people should do more things to help to avoid such events as smog and such. The thing is: Too many people are just sitting on their tooshes and let things be. It annoys me. People should do whatever is humanely possible without changing our lifestyle to help. So, in short, while I don't believe in this whole "Global warming" crap the scientists are feeding us, I do believe that we need to do more for the Earth.

Lol, what's funny is I usually find people saying that global warming isn't happening and shoving that down people's throats, but whatever. I agree that people are too lazy. Electric cars were here and they were crushed. The combusion engine has remained virtually unchanged since its inception a hundred years ago. Cars should be getting so many more miles to the gallon, but they're not. And people still want to drill....

@kittycat: I'm glad to hear that the code is still readable (and even easier to read!) because for a bot, this thing is more difficult to read than before (any filter to clean the noise from the image tends to just make the whole thing worse).

@Marsy: I know! And gas prices are up so high that it is nearly not worth driving anywhere! As for the new Ethanol stuff, while it works, it is making corn more expensive. Those poor Mexicans don't have enough corn to make tortillas! D8 So, I really think things here are becoming a little out-of-hand, and while I am not shoving the fact that Global Warming isn't happening down people's throats, I do say that the whole idea is crap.

Honestly, I'm scared to death of the US going back into a depression. We're in a recession already and people can barely even afford food or gas, not to mention the housing market crumbling to pieces. And it's scary for our generation because we're all going to be moving out soon, and I can't see how we're going to support ourselves during college and directly after... :l I can't find a job outside of my parents' business because nobody is hiring teens or young adults, all the jobs are going to older people who have families and crap to support...

I think that the U.S. has made back up plans in order to not get into another depression. My Dad, who has currently been into the whole Stock Market think says that this market bubble will eventually burst, and the recesssion will stop, and prices will return to at least somewhat normalcy.

I don't see how the US can stop that from happening, considering they aren't in control of the price of things. The stock market and housing market may return to normal, but there's nothing we can do about gas prices and imported foods...

My parents and relatives are overly supportive of my work. I tried writing some of my story in a secret jurnal and my mom went through it withoout my permission. One day she was like, "So when are you going to write more of your story, I really like it." I think she was lying though, I write like crap.

I hate it when people see what I write. I want to start uploading some of my story onto Deviantart but I don't think anyone would like it.
