Markers are the best tool ever since the creation of colored pencils! I love them! The shading actually wasn't that hard to do. Start with the lightest color, and go on to the darkest. Keep on layering the colors for a darker shade of that color. It is all pretty basic stuff... and it is fun. :3

I recognize this dragon. . . Coolz!

The dragon steals all the attention. . . The shadow creature is a bit sloppy. . It's hard to tell if it's a blob of ink, or something else.

The dragon is supposed to steal the attention. The shadow is merely supposed to be a group of beasts surrounded by darkness. Therefore, indeed, it is a blob of ink. Just like you, Raist, to be critical. :3

Prismacolor is awesome! Expensive, but awesome. Neondragon uses 'em.

I didn't use prismacolor... I used sharpie pens, and only sharpie pens (Besides ballpoint for the outlining).

I use whatever I can get my hands on. XD
