im not trying to be negative, im just stating the dangers. its common sense that active volcanoes randomly go BOOM and spew lava everywhere

cough cough.. *i blink my eyes, trying to see* *no one notices a large outcropping of rock straight ahead until it's too late*

*coughs* ahg i get to get out of this smoke..*flies quickly forward and crashes into rocks* ooFedesh

*slams into rock, sliding down* *grabs onto rock with claws* *the rock is EXTREMELY hot and we finally realize why: we are only about 20 feet from the surface of the lava*

*lays lazily on the rock for a momment* ahh....oh ow jeezus! *jumps off the rock* thats hot!

*scrambles for a hand hold, grateful that my scales greatly dull the heat, but i still wince from it* how the heck are we supposed to get down there?! *eyes the lava*

*hovers from rock* hey wait i see something! *a cave can be spotted below, but it is VERY close to the lava which is spluttering and spraying lava bits everywhere*

wow.. that was easy... *the cave is split up into 3 tunnels decorated with odd symbols above the cave entrance* ok, let's split up and hope for the best. *gulp*

*slows to a walk, my eyes glowing slightly orange as i converse with the 1st tiamat*

*walks slowly down the tunnel* now where would the heart of the volcano be?

*down tiamat's tunnel: the tunnel is richly decorated with odd designs and carvings depicting fire demons fighting small creatures. as she walks on, the pictures change into some kind of city-looking pictures. at the middle of a large wall is a drawing of a LARGE fire demon holding a red stone in his hand (fire stone?) with bat-like wings and large horns (the demon, not the stone)* *at babydrgn's tunnel: blank walls depict nothing. the heat level rises as she continues on* *in my tunnel: blank walls also, but there seems to be a presence following me*

*my footsteps echo all around as i continue to walk* strange....

*pants because of the heat* where does this lead to anyway? *sweat rolls down face*

*continues walking*

*tiamat: the drawings suddenly stop, as if the artist got bored. there is a picture of a lone demon after it, but nothing else. the heat level quickly rises* *babydrgn: the heat rises and rises. the walls seem to shimmer with the visible heat waves* *me: the presence seems to get closer and closer as the heat level begins to rise in my tunnel*

*walks faster, eager to get out of here sooner*

*pants heavier and walks on all fours* gah...*leans on the wall*

*my eyes glow a soft orange, and i feel a bit cooler. i continue walking, trying to ignore the heat*

*all: a deafening roar echoes throughout the tunnels and the whole volcano shakes* *tiamat: she enters into a large cave with a demon statue in the middle. it holds a red stone. some kind of warning is inscribed in another language at the foot of the statue* *babydrgn: a cool breeze wafts in for a second, coming from an opening ahead* *me: heat rises and rises till i have to stop for a breath* *an opening ahead has a similar statue as tiamat's with a red stone and some kind of warning*

*approaches the statue carefully, sensing danger*

*feels breeze* ah thats nice...ello wuts this? *runs to the opening*

*babydrgn: in the cave she enters is the SAME statue again, red stone, warning, and all* *all: the tunnel shakes violently, another roar sounding off. the tunnels begin to break and lava pours into the rooms* *me: i take off running with the red stone in claw*

*quickly grabs the stone in my mouth then runs down the tunnel*

ah oh gawd! *stumbles and takes rock and runs the other way as fast as my two little legs will allow me to go*

*runs, panting past the stone in my mouth. the lava slooshes down the tunnel after me, threatening to gain on me...*

(sorry guys, slow computer ><) *all: tunnels quickly fill with lava. we all meet up in the place we first started out* guys! we have to get out of here NOW!! *sees lava gaining on us* *a demonic roar splits the air* *a large fire demon like the one on the pictures comes up from the lava* demon: you are not going anywhere with my fire stone. only one of them is the real one though, and i know which it is. so hand them over or perish in a fiery doom!! *lava circles around us but does not burn us, probably b/c the demon is holding it back*

*whispers* what now?!?!

*thinks quickly, and and grabs dspice and babyd, then we all disappear, leaving the demon all alone with only lava for company...* *reappears a mile from the volcano*

phew....that was a little too easy...now which one is real?

*collapses on the ground, the stone rolling out of my mouth to stop a few inches away* god... *pant pant*

whew... thanks tiamat! *looks at stones* lemme see them... *extends claws* ??? erm, tia, are you ok? *helps her stand up*

*hands stone to dspice* mine is the real one obviously

*is too tired to give the stone to dspice* can we please rest before going to find the other stones?

yea, ok.. *i inspect the stones closely while the others (that's you, tia and babydrgn ) rest up*

im tired... *pant* it takes a toll on you if you teleport 2 times then run for your life....

yeah i suppose... *i take one of the stones and smash it on the ground* *it breaks* fake....

*lays on the ground* ahhh....

*immediately falls asleep*

*i inspect the other two stones and smash the other* ok, so i have the real one here and... *notices tia asleep* well, i guess we can rest a minute. *in the background, the volcano is seen violently erupting*

*my eyes glow orange and im forced awake* i hate it when she does that... *my eyes glow orange again, and i fall silent* guys we gotta get out of here. that guys MAD!

erm, how can you tell? *i grab the stone in my mouth* are you guys strong enough to fly?

(aww bye babydrgn! talk to ya later!) *eyes tiamat with worry* *i leap into the air, the volcano exploding ash and lava* *the ash cloud gains on us as we fly* uh oh... we need to out fly that cloud. if we breathe it in, we'll get poisoned and maybe die...

*soars through the sky as a figure is seem roaring in rage in the very far distance* ok *flies faster, my eyes glowing orange as i get more strength*

*panting, i fly fatser* *the ash cloud gains still* *i look around for a place to hide* *a lake looms under us* tiamat dive for the water!!

*wordlessly dives into the water, making hardly even a ripple*

*splashes heavily into the lake* *the ash cloud roars over us, not penetrating the water* *it passes by*

*pops my head out of the water, looking around for dspice*

*pops out of water, gasping for air* i think i swallowed a bug... *cough cough* *holds up fire stone* all this trouble for this little thing? ok, ready to go?

sure... wheres the next stone? (crap i g2g now bye!)

*pulls out scroll* *reads it* oh, you're gonna love this one: its in an ocean cave, underwater, in the deepest part of the ocean...(CRAPNESS!! bye tia! we'll continue later. tomorow is halloween! Happy Halloween tia!)

yeah, i know. well, lets rest up and we'll gon on our way...

ok *swims towards the shore, shakes the water off myself, then settles down underneath a large weeping willow, its branches low to the ground*

*paddles to the shore, climbing out* *lays down under tree as well* this tree doesn't look too good... *puts glowing paw on tree* *tree gets a little greener* there we go... *sighs and closes eyes*

*is already asleep...*

*low rumbling tells of the volcano* *i ignore it and rest, not fully falling asleep*

*comet comes out from under my chin scale, meeps a greeting to dspice, then he snuggles up against my cheek*

*chuckles and opens one eye* hello comet. make sure not to wake up tiamat. she's sleepy... *earth rumbles slightly*

don't worry, comet... im s-sure its just the... erm, the uh, v-volcano... *shivers and closes eyes*

*comet, being naturally nocturnal, stays awake, his pupils wide, reflecting the stars above. everytime theres a rumble, he soft meeps and tenses, but nothing happens for a while...*

*i open my eyes slightly, keeping watch* *i don't mean to, but i fall asleep*

*comet stays awake, not moving, just listening... and waiting...*

*the gound suddenly shakes violently, large cracks appearing in the ground* *one crack splits and heads straight for us...*

comet: MEEP MEEP MEEEPPP! *i lift my head* what is it comet? *sees the crack* HOLY CRAP!

*opens eyes* hey wha- *sees crack* GAH!! *jumps up, flapping wings*

*grabs comet and the stone, and lifts into the air, and starts flying away as fast as i can*

*cracks appear all over the ground, leaving little to land on* well, i guess we really don't have a choice now... *as we fly farther away, the cracks get less and less* *the land changes dramatically, becoming an open field* *the smell of water is in the air and an ocean can be seen in the distance*

how far is that guy going to chase us? *looks over my shoulder at the dwindling cracks*

im not sure. hopefully not long... *the volcano is seen in the distance, smoking* at least we have a smooth element stone to get this time. i mean, how bad can water be right?

it can be worse then you think. in a glass, its not bad. but in the ocean, there are whirlpools, storms that create mile high waves, and dangerous creatures...

*as soon as tiamat stops speaking, it begins raining: hard* *it soon gets so bad we are forced to land*

*lands and walks under a bunch of trees* we should take watches. you take the first shift and wake me in an hour, then ill take over *curls up*
