This dragon was captured as a juvenile by a Roman general under Julius Caesar shortly after 49 B.C. in the middle regions of Gaul, during Caesar's conquests, and given the name Marcidus, or Withering. It's color is black, but the markings are red, as are his eyes. The markings are tatoos given to the dragon after its capture to give it a more fearsome appearance. Many tools were broken during the tatooing process. Since the fall of the Western Roman Empire, Marcidus has hidden himself away, only hunting when needed. Nothing more has since been heard.

Oh I wouldn't like it either. ): That reminds me of Teiza actually. She's my wall. She's angry hate everything and she can take anything... well at least she think she can, but eventually she has to break.
SPAZZ MONKIES! *grabs 'em* They're adorable! <33 xD @jade: no problem. :3 I tend to just look angry or bored or tired... unless some one fun's around... >3
"Hay Mars!" Nithak yelled from the top of a boulder, "Do I need to point out that it is rude to charge at others? Santa Claws will not visit you next year now..." Nighthawk waved a finger accusingly.
"You... good? Now that's a laugh." Nighthawk chuckled. "You do realize that Santa Claws is some freaky fat dude who breaks into your house and steals all your snack foods, right?"
Nighthawk slid off the boulder and onto the ground. With a chuckle, Nighthawk continued her message of foreboding doom. "He makes sure you are asleep, and then breaks in bringing a crimson and bloody sack. He sneaks in from the chimney, and then begins to steal all of your prized treats... Not even a blender or a rotweiler will stop him, for he is invincible."
"And he does! He steals all the cookies, chews all the gum. Drinks all the eggnog, and then stuffs the rest into his blood stained bag. If you do not have treats, he will murder you in your sleep." Nighthawk grinned evilly.
"Oh dear lord! Then I don't want him to come to my house ever again," she stated, wide eyed,"so I must be badder than I normally am! And I must start right away!"
"Oh," Nithak whispered back. "There is no turning back now. >:3" Nighthawk stated. "...If your brains are all gone, then he will simply eat your heart, and steal all your junk food as well!"
Nighthawk ignored Babydrgn. "...However, by looking at our surroundings and seeing that there is change, I would say that we indeed went through time." Nighthawk pointed to the place where the boulder that she was standing on once laid, but no boulder laid there.
I was going to say something belligerent, but thought better of it. Just came to see what I got bored with, and to see what other more or less nasty things about my dragon people, thinking themselves clever, wrote. Not much. Oh well, I hope you all have enjoyed my absence. It seems it took more than a year between strings of comments, and then on Christmas of '07, we get feelings and role-playing. What a screwy world.

Don't be so selfish. This picture just happened to be the one that was commented upon. It was not chosen for any particular qualities. Your comment makes it seem like you would have prefered something nasty, or is that merely what you expected? Anyway, it's not what you got, so just be happy. Personally, I think the dragon isn't that bad. The left arm looks twisted and broken, and the wing could have been done better, especially where the fingers connect, but otherwise it's good. And as for the world, well... it has its own reasons and makes its own rhymes.
I think most people that commented when this first got here were being rude. But you sealed your fate by being rude right back, sir. We did not think to comment, because. *Shrugs* And Dear me, of course we have feelings! What did you expect? Role playing is simply something that comes up in a conversation. It is quite pleasant to do on occasion, actually. Most of the people you know from here has packed their bags and left, but now you are simply judging the book by it's cover by saying such things. I agree though that indeed the world is screwy, when looked at with an ice-cold eye. Truly, you can think to say something optimistic.
While this dragon needs some work, it shows great skill, skill that needs to developed. The head is wonderful, and I enjoy how you did the muscles. I like how you did the story; a wonderful way to put 'history' into 'dragons'.
I can totally imagine Eric Daniel having this really stuffy english accent XD!! As for the pic well...it certainly isn't the worst on here, nor is it anywhere near the best, and though voting for oneself several times in a row is a pretty low trick, it most certainly isn't the LOWEST and...well...yah. Anyway, totally random side comment based on a snippet of conversation waaaaaay up there: I know a phoenix too, she's Hadina's familiar--a very mystical creature, silent but deadly. Anyway...old Dragnix is significantly bloodier and more agressive than it is now, wow! twas warmongering that argument was!

who is Eric Daniel?! he sounds quite rude. *studdies pic* not the best not the worst
Read some of the early comments, Eric Daniel is basically the loathing demeaning commenter on this site, though fortunately in all my time here I haven't seen him. Otherwise he might have gotten the spammer treatment, lol
I doesn't like him either, but I'm not sure if he originally wanted to make life miserable here or if Makla's incitation made him the permanent antagonizer.
