Ok, let's start with the mane. get rid of it. Next up are the spikes. line them up along her spine. Next, the teeth. CP described them as "rows of daggers", not mentioning any fangs. had he imagined her to have any, he would have put that in the description. But very nice drawing, once again. sorry fer flaming ya! Misinterpretation of literary devices really gets me agitated

s'alright, i'm always looking for a different perspective. lets me know what people like. but just soes you know, this is just MY interpretation of her. i understand that other people have different ideas of how she looks.

It's a book called Eragon. It's written by Chistopher Paolini. It's really good. You should read it. (by the way, if you don't mind me asking, how old are you, balcour?)

Actually, the movie comes out on june 16, not the 12th and heres a list of all the caratures. . . Eragon: Edward Speelers, Roran: Chris Egan, Brom: Jeremy Irons, Galbatorix:John Malcovich, Ajihad: Djimon Hounsou, Arya: Sienna Guillory, Durza: Robert Carlyle, Murtagh: Garrett Hedlund, Garrow: Alun Armstrong, King Hrothgar: Gary Lewis, Angela: Joss Stone. The movie is being filmed in Hungrey and Chris Paolini has a roll to be beheaded in the battle under Farthen Dur. Personally, I think everyone should ignore eragonmovie.com and head to shurtugal.com instead.

it's not possible to know everything aboud dragons. it's like girls, no matter how much you learn about them they're still going to surprise you. girls don't even know everything about girls and i have that from a good source

okay, i realize that you can't know everything about dragons. what i meant was anytime one of you mentions anything dragon related -- in this case Eragon -- the rest of you know everything about it. (and i agree about girls. i only have two sisters and five cousins, but they still really confuse me)

I LOVE eragon, and your dragon looks way cooler than the one on the book cover. I didn't really like the cover anyway. The new one on Eldest looks better.

i thought that Eragon was okay (though it's certainly not one of my favorites), but i don't like Eldest at all. i do agree that this dragon is better than the one on the cover.

Has anybody read Eldest? Is it any good? (oh. and makla, you're right about girls. i'm a girl and i still don't understand some things about girls. some girls are just really hard to figure out. but i'm a tomboy anyway, so i probably know more about guys than i do about girls. ain't that sad?!)

Eldest is good, though Makla seems to think that it's plagiarism all around.

looking at the storyline, it's okay (nothing spectacular), but all the new age and buddist-like stuff is kind-of weird. it would be better if it weren't so predictable

well, like the 'all lives are equal' sort of menality. i'm all for treating animals kindly, but i certainly wouldn't elevate an animal (a squirrel for instance) to an equal status with, say, Kiluea or Silentiea

I read Eldest, and personally I think it's better than Eragon, though their both two of my favorite books alongside Dark Lord of Derkholm and the Harper Hall Trilogy.

Dragon Lover: Every Inheritance website knows about the third book. It's most likely to come out this fall, it will feature a green dragon looking right on the cover, and is almost 100% going to be called 'Empire'.

it's going to be 500+ pages. you don't realize how much time that takes.

Um, I AM a writer too, you know. I know how long it takes to write something. But it only took one year for CP to write Eragon, which is over 300 pages, suggesting that he is a fairly fast writer. It took one year to get the art done after that, and I believa year to find a publisher and get the stuff edited. Then it took one year to actually get it fully PUBLISHED, hence the '4 year' thing.

Aiolos is right; i write ALOT. Although i've never had anything published, i do know what you have to go through and its not pretty.
