What are the earliest known origins of dragons(besides so called dinosaur fossils)? The oldest writings or artwork, either biblical or not??

Read up on these pages. They don't have a date with a quick glance. But there may be one there. But it does have some good info.

There were dragons in the bible actually. Job I think it was. A Leviathan. It was just a metaphor for something, just like everything in the bible. There were also dragons in Revalations. With the big 666 written on it's forehead.

There was a leviathan somewhere in the bible, but I'm not sure it's considered a dragon. There is definitely a dragon in the book of Revelations, it is a representation of evil.
