Post subject:  Greetings!

Hello.... Real name's Emily but you can call me Azaros.

Well, I love dragons, can draw them kind of well. I like nearly any kind of animal, the fox would be my favorite. I have 1 dog, 2 birds, and 3 cats. Right now Rosco(bird) will NOT quit walking across my chest and scratching me with those claws of his...

ANYWAY... uhh.....hobbies, um..... I'm just starting to craft leather masks. I like to go outside, love just watching the senery. I'm intristed in anything
'unknown' (like dragons) And how I wish I could fly...

I'm from Kentucky, live in Missouri....

What else..............oh yah! I like archery and swords. Heheheheh....

I love meeting new people and making friends and stuffs. I'm usually shy, but on a chat I'm not actually talking to anyone (I'm typing to peoples)so.... :D

Welcome to this message board. Here's a donut *offers Azaros donut.* If you is lucky, other people will bring food.

Hmm Missouri, I used to live there. I hated the place.

Hope you enjoy your stay and avoid wild animals (they might have rabies  ).

Welcome to Dragnix. Please read the rules and always remember that a long time ago women were allowed to live on Navy ships to keep company for sailor husbands and friends who had to stay for several months at sea without being in battle. On occasion, a woman delivered a baby whose paternity could not be established with certainty. In the birth certificate, authorities just noted “Son of a gun,â€￾ referring to the artillery found on the ships. This has evolved into the common expression we use today.

Partially correct. 'Son of a gun' - an account during the Napoleonic era said that a woman was having trouble giving birth on a ship. The doctor suggested to the Captain to fire off the guns on one side to induce or shock along her labour. It worked, that's where 'son of a gun' comes in

Interesting, but my fact only illustrates how the phrase was introduced to our society while your fact illustrates the phrase's 'birth'.

welcome welcome, you shall be showered with gifts of knowledge as you enter the family we have created here....sanity is outlawed, but the jester is a welcomed advisor to all.

I do find amusement in many things, but the whole Son Of a Gun origin is in the top ten of random things i've learned, it's up with the origin of the doughnut and its hole....

i agree with wut2say. there is alot of random things out there in this site that you'll learn, and what people would talk about. a little advice that someone on here gave me, "look out for the bear traps, they can be quite painful." lol. but i also didn't know about the whole "son of a gun" thing either. whoops, wheres my manners. welcome to the site. its a very interesting place, where you can make new friends. learn new things, and even join a story line (Role playing/RP). you'll learn that some people know more about somethings and others about other things, that way if you have any questions you'll know who to ask. i found that for questions about mythical things, like magic, dragons, etc. Falconer knows alot. well i ran out of donuts, but i have lots of fruit snacks. *hands over fruit snacks* welcome again and enjoy.
