@Fireheart: Maybe for the users of this gallery this is not apparent but the quantity of spam I remove each day is enormous. Before I resorted to network ban to keep them at bay, it worked for a time by blocking zombies PC but today, one of them (spammer) simply spoofed his IP (something relatively easy to do) meaning that I had to remove 38 messages in less than 8 hours. I honestly can't allow this to continue, I would spend all my time watching over the gallery... With a horde of automated and expandable bots on one side and me on the other, I don't like my chances. So the captcha is a solution and a compromise between zero-restriction and mandatory-registration. While I am very sorry for the inconvenience, this is (unfortunately) necessary these days.

It is simpler to ask you to register with a "no question asked", no need to even enter a valid email or any other personal information and still get your account right away (and active), than asking me to keep the gallery clean manually.
