ok, you divide 13 by 2, to get the 2 away from the y. 13 divided by two will end in a decimal, b/c it is an odd number. Any odd number divided by 2 will end in .5, between the larger # divided by 2, and the smaller # divided by 2. Ex. 25/2=12.5, because 24/2= 12, and 26/2 equals 13. Got that? if you do, you understand how and why I got 6.5=y
