@Midnight: Currently, I have 22 pic in queue for upload, but this number is expected to swell as most people send me their art on Saturday and Sunday.
When I started the gallery? Oh my, let me check my notes... It's hard to tell with all the versions but I would say back in 2000.
As for a person's fursona/alter-ego, it does matter in some ways but I also have left some loopholes to allow people to post a wide range of pictures here. For example, as long as there is a dragon or a anthropomorphic/half dragon present in the pic, it will be posted. This way it allow me to keep the gallery focussed on dragons (I can't compete with Deviantart, VCL, Elfwood, etc) while allowing some variations at the same time.

@Midnight: Let's see, Dragnix went online on December 2002. There was a site before that (back as far as 1999) but the old site was rather unpolished so I had make some major changes... Well, not exactly, it's rather complicated; the stuff I didn't like stayed on the old site, while the stuff I liked was moved to Dragnix but the two sites are still interlinked.

@Midnight: I started to post my drawings on a different system that I use as my personal gallery while this gallery evolved into something more robust and capable of handling large amount of comments and traffic (some members around here can probably recall the infamous gallery crashes that occurred a few years ago). So for now I post them in links when the mood strike, I may move my gallery here but it will take some time.
As for the drawings people send me, I usually preview a few but not all of them. It's mostly because most of the pics I receive doesn't fit on my screen right away (my mail program has many option that take a lot of screen space) so I often wait to view them in an image editor where I can really see them fully.

@Midnight: You can report your own comment since it can be used to attract my attention on something. For example, if I have made a mistake in a picture description (though you can directly report the picture) or if you have a question that I haven't noticed. And yes, I taught myself how to draw, mostly by looking at others artists' drawings; some rought sketches and some finished works. As such, my style It's rather disordered as I don't use the sticks and boxes to draw something, just my gut feeling (lot of erasing until I feel the picture is right). Reverse engineering has its limits however, for example, to I still have a lot of problem to move to the next level (ex: Photoshop).

I did the same thing as you only my mom found DragonArt for me and I've used the lines of motion, sticks, and the basic geometric shapes to help with the positioning, but I refuse to use the shapes to define the muscles of what I am drawing. Or we could e-mail you about the pictures description. I erase alot too. The sticks and shapes are mainly used to determine where everything is going to end up, well, that's what I ue them for anyways. Some people that I know use them for as I said before muscle definition.
