Well let's get to hiking, we've got to reach there before sundown. *starts to head twoards the mage's guild, which is on the other side of the village* shadow, remind me again why Kartorvatch is the main place where we do business?

Because this is the biggest village, it contains most of our contacts, and because overall, it hasa nice charm, giving us a well deserved break

Oh yea...but still, do we have to come all the way over here for that one museum...or whatever you call it. *quickly dodges a group of well dressed Nordics, and sees one of my favorite contacts in the process* hey shadow, we should talk to rai'treal, our kahjiit friend, he might have some information pertaining to the ruins that I told you about yesterday. *heads off towards him*

OOC: so can anyone join this rp? IC: * is crouched on a pedastial above the crowds watching people come and go from the mages guild, pretending to be a statue*

*i talk to rai'treal as we walk to the mages guild. As we approach it I notice something out of place* hey...does the feeling of this place just seem different today. *rai'treal noticed it and nods his confermation.* eh...it's probably due to someone that made a scene earlier. *we enter the mages guild* OOC:yea any one can just don't control others. IC.

follows klepter noticing that something is diffrent. casts a spell that prevents others from evesdropping on us

Shadow, please keep up, we must enter at the same time. *patiently waits*

coming* i quickley scan the area, sensing something is not right, then run toward klepter

*quietly speak to shadow* ...I senced it too, something is going to happen, I can feel it...but we must act natural when we talk to dardwen, the store owner, about you know what, don't even think about the sense. *i walk toward the counter with a large smile on my face as I greet the owner*

follows, saying nothing, watching for potential threats

*to dwarden* well it seems like a nice day tomorrow, don't you think? *drarden looks at us then quickly ushers us behind the counter to a back room.*

Squirrel-Tonge (will be referred to as S-T or some such nonsense from here on out.), who was perched on a statue's shoulder, looks at the door with wide, unblinking orange eyes. A deep purr rumbles from his chest. "Ah, so we have visitors." He tilts his head curiously. "Are you? Could you be?" He flapped his wings once to get his front paws off the ground and claps happily. "Oh you are! Shadow, Kleptor, it's so nice to finally see you again!" He landed back on all fours and furrowed his brow. "Or is it 'nice to meet you'? I don't think you've met me yet. Or perhaps you have already... no, because you knew me then and I haven't seen you since..."

ooc: wait, the door's locked, and there are no windows. are you talking to yourself?

ooc: he was waiting in the room you all just entered.

*motions to capt. S on the statue* I see you still have him hanging around, does he help out or just follow you around? Ooc:Nauru? Do you want to be darwden?

ooc: sure! What does he look like? ic: Dwarden shrugs. "Oh, him? No, he's a new one. I don't know him that well, but he said something about an appointment he had. Myt last one, Rash'ya, flew off just before he came. I guess they had a fight or something." He motioned around the room. "Anyway, this place is as safe as you're going to get around here. You can talk freely."

OOC:he mainly looks like a hard working elf that likes to wear browns and greens. IC: I see, well does he talk? Because like you said, this is a place to speak freely. *i stare intently and capt. S waiting for him to do something.*

The small red dragon flicked its tail. "Well of course I can talk! I am not some dumb laboring beast for this one," he said, pointing a scaly claw at Dwarden. He suddenly leapt off of the statue's shoulder and hovered mere inches before Klepter's face. "You wish to travel back in time to 1578. Or was it 1758? Remember this: The jewel..." Dwarden snatched the dragon's thin tail in his meaty hand and pulled him back onto the staute, ignoring its hissing. "Sorry 'bout that," the man said. "I haven't got him trained yet."

*glances back at shadow* well take em, and any others you got, I believe this should be enough coin to suffice. *drops a quite large buldging coin purse on the table* and I've come to ask you one thing. *i lean over the table* what do you know about rarkric stormfolk?

ST hisses. "I am no pet to bet bought!" Dwarden quickly silences him with a leather strap around his snout and thrusts him into Klepter's hands, taking the gold in return. "heh, heh, you might regret that. But about this Rarkric Stormfolk, I can't say I know much. Let me sheck some o' my records. You wait here and I'll get them." Dwarden marches off, leaving Klepter, Shadow, and ST alone in the room. The moment the door shuts, ST Jumps onto the statue, bursts into flames, and turns the leather straap itno ash. Still burning fiercely, he glares at Shadow and Klepter. "You never told me it would be this rought getting the message to you! Never even occurred to you, did it?" ooc: What do you want dwarden to know about the Stormfolk?

OOC: like where he lives, what he's doing in general, where he was last seen. Make stuff up.IC: *i look directly and ST* I only "bought" you so you wouldn't have to deal with him, consiter it a gift to get out of here if you want, and I don't take kindly to dragon slavery, unfortunately the only way to get through to that loust is to shine some gold in this face...now what was that message you said that you have?

ST chuckles, his flame receding back into his body. "Heh heh, that's rather funny. Ahem, anyway, the message is this: The jewel is beautiful in the eye of the beholder. When you see again the one who has not met you, tell him "Ah'hak Dazil." That is all." Heavy footsteps are heard beyond the door just before it is mightily swung open. Dwarden, carrying a single scroll, enters. "I found this bugger hidden behind The History of Bengal. Nasty one, that is." He lays the scroll on the table, and reveals it to be a map with many red numbers on it. "The here's a map with ever location that flighty mongrel has been seen. It updated just yesterday. You see, it's been magicked to number any location where his face has been seen. It won't trace him directly 'cuz he's too powerful a magician, but it's pretty accurate if I do say so myself. Ah, I'm rambling. The most recent place is here. It's a town just south of here. Not twenty minutes on the fastest horse. There are some ruins near it, which I assume is where he's headed." He quickly rolled the scroll and tied it. "Well, if that's all you need, I have others to attend to. Good luck to y'all." After nearly pushing them out the door, he waves, then mutters "good riddance," slamming the door behind them.

He seems distracted, anyway...sorry shadow, gotta make a detour before we can go on the time travel quest. *it has begun to rain so I pull up my hood and begin to head of to a house at the und of the street.* ST, you can do what ever, you don't belong to us.

Squirrel-Tounge shrugs. "I can help you out until you get where you need to go. After all, that's what you told me I did." He flys along with ease above Shadow's head. "So who's this Stormfolk guy anyway?"

I have no idea. We do know he was involved the trade of some dangerous animals, some of who got loose, as was possibly seen in the picture

Stormfolk...*i look at ST*...he's a leader of a group of rebels that are trying to take over trantrial and an evil mage, thats why I stopped at the mages guild, because I knew they would have records. I wasn't expecting you, but I was expecting a message. So we need to get this stuff done soon or shadow won't be happy that we dont get to do his timetravel adventure. *i quicken my pace so I won't get completely soaked from the rain*

"But that picture was made years ago! He must be a dragon if he's still alive now, and had his own creatures escape back then."

Yes so if we manage to go back into time and kill him, then the smuggling deals will stop.

ST opens his mouth to say something, but then thinks better of it and closes it. "Why don't you just stop him now?" he decides to ask. The town Dwarden mentioned is already in sight.

Because everything he has done will of still happened, we got to stop it at its root.

ST nods solemmnly. "I can see the ruins over that way," he says, pointing. I bet we can get there in a couple of minutes.

We should first see what there doing, we don't want to spook them. If anything appears as though there doing something illegal, point it out so we can asses this accordingly. *i leave the road and get behind some brush and slowly start to make my way behind the encampment.*

ST snaps his wings open, using only his momentum to keep him aloft. Perfectly still, his eyes glaze over and become bright orange. After a moment, he blinks and his eyes are normal again. Without saying anything about this to Klepter and shadow, he motions for them to follow him, and begins to lead them around the side of the camp.

I can see exstensive movement near that one arch way, If that leads down into the bowls of the ruins I don't want to go down there.

"I know another way." ST urged him onward to the right, around the backside of the ruins. It was so overgrown that there was plenty of cover, and the could easily bypass the watchful eyes.

*follows slowly, while watching for any threats while also senseing for any* where are we going, we have to get down in there so we can gain access to the main chamber and take something of value so we will be able to gain an audience with him.

ST freezes up again, his eyes going blank. It takes longer this time for him to go back to normal. "No, we definitely need to go this way. He's got the main entrance guarded with too many spells for me to counter. We've passed two just by getting here. There's another entrance that they don't know about, and that's the way you went. Thats the way you have always gone."

I don't even want to know how you know all this stuff and about what "I've always done" but im not doing to ask questions now. We have to be quick before the rain goes away and we lose all of our cover for the noise that we must be making. *i continue on*

ST shrugs. "You didn't know when you met me again, so I'm not going to tell you even if you do ask." They reach a large, flat rock. "Under here." His next words come out as a mumble. "You didn't realize then, so I guess..." Aloud, he said "If you move this rock, we can go down."

Ok, so...*i start to move the rock with my mind* you say that you've met me before, yet I have no recollection of it but you know it all...what are you getting at here?

St grins, mischeviously. "You'll know soon enough." The stone reveals a passage into the dark. Lighting his wings on fire, he glides down into the hole, lighting the way for the others.

You don't need to do that, we can see in the dark, we only use fire as a warming element and as an attack. *continues to follow ST*

"I know that, but I, on the other hand, am almost blind in the dark." ooc: do you want to control the setting here? I have no ideas for it.

OOC: I'm gonna make it a surprise just go with it. IC: *i wave him off as we continue down the tunnel, but as we come to a turn I notice that it's gotten more moist on the lower walls and floor. The next turn we come to its extremely slick and I start sliding down a steep incline because of the moisture.*

ST dives down after him, catches him by the collar of his shirt, and flaps wildly to slow his descent. Reluctant to use magic, he is unable to stop the descent entirely.

*tries to grip anything to slow down but to no evail* did you know that this was here?

"heh, you never thought to tell me about this, now did you? well, at least there are still some surprises left for me."

*slams both my feet to the opposite sides of the tunnel and starts to slow Down* quick fly ahead and see what's at the end of this

Nodding, the dragon releases Klepter, pushing up on him to speed the dragons descent and slowing Klepter's. Leaving behind a trail of fire, he speeds down and down into the depths, until his flame is a mere speck of light in the distance.

What do you see? *call down after him as I almost full come to a stop* is there anyway to land softly?

"I suppose so! You won't die, so anything you do will be okay. But mind you, your arm's going to get broken soon and this would be a great time for it."

WHAT!?!? My arm is not going to get broken!! *i slip slightly but quickly regain myself. I slowly begin to slid down again.*

"maybe not now, but soon. Ah, and here come the guards. Get your slow butt down here!"

...I'm not going to dignify that with an answer. *i mentally say* I'm don't have...oh wait, I'm an idiot...*i turn into a phantom* I forgot that I could do this for a second. *i fly down the rest of the tunnel with out worry, and emerge in a dimly lit hallway/ tunnel thing.* OOC: I gotta go IC:

"I can hear footsteps coming our way. Or at least, I think they are footsteps. It's not like any creature's step I've heard before."

ooc: Off to bed now. ttyl

*runs around the corner and slams into a wall* "son of a..." *rubs my face and looks around, blinking* "If I don't find my way outta here, I'm--" *notices keeper and ST*

Ooc: I'm with them too ic: pounces on (insert name here cause I don't know your characters name) and puts a knife to his( or her) throat* who are you* looks at ST* I thought this place was secure

ST scoffs and looks intently at his claws. "Well, it's not my fault you never thought to tell me. I'm just taking you on the path that keeps you alive as far as I know. I-" Suddenly, he goes blank again, and his fire goes out, leaving them in total darkness. ooc: d-spice! Tis lovely to see you again!!! *glomps*

Whatever, who are you?

"It''s okay, she's harmless." ST circles her, purring and watching her intently. "I was wandering when you would show up, my friend." Then, like a playful pup, he crouches down and flicks his tail. "What all have you seen?"

*un-phantomises* ok, she may be harmless, but who is she? *i hear a scuffled scrape down the coridor behind us* what was that? *as i rip my blade out* shadow, get her up, and lets go. we need to not lay around anymore, i can sense stormfolk's uneasyness, he knows something is wrong. *i slowly start to creep down the passage.* OOC: what's your character d-spice?

ooc: my usual human form, 5'9" female. ic: hey, mind if I tag along with you guys? I've been stuck down here for I don't know how long and I'm lost...

"Of course, my friend!" Purring, ST leaps, flaps twice, and lands on D'spice's shoulder. His eyes glaze over for a much longer moment than before, and when he opens them, he points to the left. "Stormfolk is tht way, and there are some guards coming from the other way." Looking at Spice very seriously, and whispering so that only she can hear, he says, "For us, things happen, did happen, and will happen as they have always happened. But not for you. You can change. Choose life, or death. Choose me, or them if the time comes for you." He flys ahead, on fire, giving Spice no time to reply.

I don't know wether or not to just go straight to the treasure chamber or to take out all the guards first, but we have to make a quick plan. *i continue to silently walk with my sword drawn*

"We must go back to the past to stop all of this, right? Why not just jump back now?"

Because we need something to draw him out of his safety net, something we can use against him, so what better place to get something then from his own cach? Besides it would help with reasons that best be left unexplained, it would work best if we don't spook him so he won't disappear in to time.

"I see. Then let us get to the treasure chamber first, as there may be too many guards to fight off. Already, the guards are approaching quickly."

Pulls out Arwen. With every passing second the elvish writing gets brighter.* we have about a minute and a half before they get here. We must get to the chamber and lock the door. Ooc: was the storm folk idea based on the idea of the storm cloaks from skyrim

ooc: I've not played skyrim. ic: ST urges the others to move faster as he rides on Spice's shoulder. "I can feel a strong enchantment up ahead. We are almost there!"

The question was for klepter. Ooc: slashes blade through the enchantment although the act of destroying wards takes some of my energy

ST shouts, "The guards are here!" Turning, he sees a massive ogre with a small bug on its head, as well as an old witch with a dragon puppet overing to her right. The witch is floating, and every movement she makes is copied by the puppet. Her hands make more presice movement, causing the dragon to spray chucks of molten lava from its jaws.

*draws my twin daggers and leaps away from the lava* "Well, I must admit I've seen uglier."

ST struggles to keep hold of Dspice as she dodges. Some of the lava splatters up, and hits her in the ankle. It is magicked, and begins to burn through her boot.

*I notice the lava and glance over at ST* "You alright?"

ST unclenched his claws slightly. "yeah, I'm good. you?" Before she has time to reply, the Ogre lunges forward, covering a massive distance with each stride. He lifts his club and sings it around a couple feet above the ground. His aim is accurate and directed toward Shadow and Klepter. The witch flys toward Spice, the dragon puppet dangling to her right. Twisting her fingers in a fast, complicated motion, and turning at the same time, she causes the tail to whip around and launch a volley of spike at Dspice. Each one bursts into liquid fire in the air.

*I do my best to avoid as much of the fire as i can. I dash up to the witch and swing my daggers around, hoping to land a blow without getting burned*

*dives into an alcove as the orc's club comes down, and fires a burst of arrows at the attackers from the cover* shadow quick, get over here, we have to use it now! *three of the five arrows fired find there mark, two in the orc's head and the other in the witch's shoulder*

The arrow manages to get past the dragon puppet, and pierces the witch. She releases a blud curdling shriek, making anyone blind from pain, and for those with good hearing, completely immobilized. One of these is ST, who only manages to dig his claws into Dspice. The ogre does not even appear to be affected by the arrows and swings his club at Klepter, aiming directly for his right arm.

*dives again, badly slicing the orc's arms as I swing my sword in the middle of my dive. I roll past him and in the cofinned tunnel, the Orc has a hard time turning around fast enough, and I slice his lower thigh, on one leg, and the back of his knee on the other as I roll into another alcove, this one deeper and darker.* I know how to win this. quick guys we have to collaps the tunnel on them.

The ogre does not seem to notice any of these wounds. No blood flows out, and he is not breathing heavily. In fact, he does not seem to be breathing at all. He does not limp as he follows Klepter, swings his club again, and slams it into Klepter's arm. A loud snap is heard, and his arm is bent at an unnatural angle. When the ogre pulls the club away, green ooze stretches from the wound. This is a potion that, though it does no harm, will not allow anything to be healed for many hours. The witch stops her screams and makes the dragon spew massive amounts of green fire around the cave, burning every corner.

ooc: The ogre is a puppet, controlled by he bug on his head. Also, please give me a chance to dodge. And if I give you a chance to dodge, don't always exploit it. You are not invincible.

*staggers back as the noise and the flames affect me* "ST, you've got to find a better place to hang on..." *I jump back and glance around for a place to hide, choosing to crouch behind a large rock*

To Klepter: "How do you plan on us collapsing this tunnel?"

ST shakes his head as the noise fades. "Right, sorry." He takes a moment to unclench his claws, then leaps onto the ground. He watches the ogre for a moment. "ah, so this is when it gets brolen." But his reprieve is not long as the witch begins to look in various hiding places, and is making her way over to Dspice and himself.

Ooc: the alcoves are somewhat of a weak spot, and the it's really old so a lot of stress on the walls may collapse it.ic: *i grab my arm, and quickly make my way to the other side of the tunnel, hoping to distract the Orc and have him charge me, menwhile, I grab some exsplosive darts out of my pouch and threw them into the celine and along the walls.* these darts should do it, they got enough bang to atleast shake this place to pieces. But we need to be far enough away to got get hurt, so everybody, move back and find cover, but be ready to fight. *i quickly set the twenty second fuse and move slowly drawing them into the line of fire*

*I sheath my daggers and slowly move away from the witch, circling around and away from the explosives* "ST, you wanna hop back on? Things are about to get really loud in here...."

The ogre follows slowly after Klepter, keeping up, but not gaining. The witch watches as the darts are thrown, and a slight smile plays her face. Flying extremely fast, she swerves into the ogre's leg and holds him down with her puppet. With mere seconds before the bombs explode, ST launches himself from the ground, grasps Dspice's collar, and uses magic to propel the two of them to safety. To save itself from the cascade of rocks, the bug from the ogre (it's about a foot long) buzzes after the group. A large rock clips its wing, and it is pinned by another, much larger rock. Now, the bug and shadow, klepter, and Dspice and ST are on one side of the collapse, and the witch is on the other.

ooc:> I am unsatisfied with this comment. If you feel I overstepped my bounds by exploding your bombs, then I will retype this comment.

*coughs heavily from the amount of dust.* I don't think that work completely how I expected it to, it looked like the witch is still alive. Quick, we got to kill that bug, and get out of here before they get though. *i hike up my pack and start to move off to see if there's a way out that isnt completely guarded. And slowly look around the corner of the next passage. An arrow pierces the wall above me.* um, guys, we're kind surrounded over here. OOC: you didn't really blow them up to early, but it would have been better if we at least got one of them with the rocks.IC:

ooc: The bug was pretty much dead (broken wing and pinned under a large rock) I kept him alive in case you wanted to question them. ic: The witch, on the other side of the cave-in, drags out both puppets from the rubble. Plucking three white hairs from her head, she sews up the ogre's wounds. Though those points are still weak, they provide a decent puppet for her. Speaking to the unseen foes, "You'll see me again, my lovelies, and then I shall be stronger." The ogre hovers to her left, and only the dragon makes precise movements as her good hand waves it foreward. On the other side of the mass of rocks, ST drops Dspice before his breakneck pace slams him into the wall of the tunnel. He groans, mumbling vaguely about how he should never launch in such a small space. The world is blurry before his eyes, and he lies motionless in the corner.

*i hear shuffled scraping metal on metal as the archers get closer, and since my arm is unable to be healed right now I'm not able to shoot at the attackers. I quickly sling up my left arm and draw my sword with my right, to at least defend close attacks.* hey guys, you kinda have to get up, like right now! Before we all get skewered! *i try to find something to help defend every one else while they recover from the defting blast and cave in. I do notice two large conviently placed boulders that rolled to form a kind half wall.*

ST blinks, dizzy. "Archers? in a tunnel? Wha-? Oh!" He stumbles over to Klepter. "This is where you said..." He notices Klepter's arm. "So that's when it got broken. Heh, told you so. I can get us close to the archers, but you all have to be impervious to fire. Shadow? Dspice? are either of you harmed by fire?"

I'm wearing fire resistant clothing, and well, fire is my friend.* twists hand and a ball of blue fie appears. Extinguishes fire when I hear a bowstring being pulled.

ST nods. "I see. And I believe this is where..." He tries to stand tall, and bravely, but his fear can be seen clearly. The bow twangs, and an arrow buries itself into ST's wing shoulder. He roars in pain. "Awwrr! That hurts like a bugger!" He huffs, and the arrow ingnites in flame. He is still left with an open wound, from which small jets of fire are emitted. His wing is bent at an odd angle, and he is unable to pull it into a fully folded position. To keep his balance, he holds his other wing slightly open as well. Seemingly invigorated, he bellows, "Right then! Which of you lot is ready for a whoopin?"
