it's shetlands that are mean. miniatures are actually the nicest of all the sizes. i should know, i have hadat least one of each.

besides, i got you all beat! 1 rabbit, 2 guinea fowl, 2 peafowl, 86 chickens, 16 horses, 1 goat, 4 dogs, 3 cats, and 4 pigeons!

That's a lot of chickens. I have only 1 dog 1 cat. I used to have 2 other cats, and who knows how many fish, and 2 frogs.

that is just a weird question. It's an unwritten rule that you leave pregnant animals alone in my county. No selling, and only brushing and feeding are the things that are allowed to be done. we've just gotten a few anomalies with a few foals when I was a wee lad. they were deaf or had some other weird dsorder

The fact that you won't sell them means that there is some special value to the animal when it is pregnant, and I would think it logical that the value comes from the unborn ife within the animal.

No, no nooooo..... messing around with the pregnant mother causes genetic deformities of very bad magnitudes. deaf, easy to break bones.....that kind of thing. the morre you jostle, the less chance of the foal living. and selling involves a LOT of jostlimng up here in the mountains

But still, you are treating the mother with special care because of the child. You say the jostling is bad for the young, not the mother, so you are ackknowledging that it the child is there

okay, from my expirience the price goes up because you are paying for two animals. and you can't really count the foal before it is born becuase there is no 100% guarantee that it is going to live after birth. the same goes for the mother, you have to take into account that instead of getting a horse you might lose two.

as for treating the mare carefully because she is carrying a precious burden, it really is only becuase if you lose that foal a lot of money goes down the tube. it's kind of cruel but when you don't have much money in the first place it's what you got to be thinking about

I don't feel like arguing right now. According to the D.A., a fetus becomes a child at two months or something like that, and that should be so for horses too.

but a horse is more for profit or convienience. Most of the human race sees all other species as second best and not as important

My horses I raise just for the fun of nurturing them. I raise them from the time they're foals to be nice, and I only ride them when the want to be ridden, such as when they nuzzle the blnaket on the door of the stables!

Well, it doesn't matter how humans see other races, if a human fetus becomes a child 20% of the way through the pregnancy, so should a horse fetus. Even if a fetus and a foal don't have any diferent rights, the clarification should be made.

different animals have different pregnancies. for a horse it's about 10 months

an elephant is pregnant for 13 i think. i don't remember the exact number but i remember it's a little over a year.

I must first of all say that the dragon is drawn and coloured beautifully. Although, in my opinion it looks as if the head is just a bit too small for the dragon's body. The colours that you have chosen, obviously, work quite well with the technique used in the creation of this superb drawing. If you keep practising your drawing talents and maybe try your hand at painting and sculpting, I have no doubt in my mind that you could, indeed, become an artist. And not just one that only has their work up in local gallerys, but one with a true calling nature, that has artwork shown around the world. Of course, that does not mean that you should stop all that you are doing for that one little glimpse of fame, but to see what your true potential is. This dragon is good, like I have already said, but it is not the best that you can do, so with that in mind I give you a four. I particularly like the wings.

The picture is awesome, one of my favorites! This is the first time I've been to this site, and I must say, you guys get really off track.

As I've said before, though not exactly in the ame way, we don't get off track, the track turns.

The female is usually more aggresive cuz she's usually guarden a large hord of treasure or a of clutch of eggs. PS. . .Has anyone seen Dragon Storm? And Reighn of Fire is like, the best movie besides the dragonheart movies and dragon storm.

i love this dragon it sort of reminds me of my dragon spirit dust hes a.. uummm... i cant spell his breed but hes black has 4 legs 2 wings and hes the most common breed of dragon. any way i think this picyure is awsome!!....
