*rolls over, muttering something about giant cockroaches attacking my cookie*

hey guys is it just me, or is there something in there? *points to bubbling swamp mud*\

Hmm? *looks up from prodding Tiamat* What? *sees bubbling* AH! *quickly draws a blue-silver probe from her claw and sticks it into the swamp* *a couple seconds later, the probe flies into my horn and disappears* It's a Swamp-Vine Dragon! Everyone fly!!! *grabs Tiamat and jumps up in the air, barely avoiding a tentacle shooting out at my tail*

(*hope backs away a few inches, just in case, but purrs*) i never noticed it before....

*continues sleeping* 5 more minutes....

GAH! *turns to dragon form and leaps into the air*

*Suddenly, two beaming red eyes appear from the muck, and then a fin/spine covered neck and back, followed by two unfolded translucent web wings* *the dragon slowly moves toward the island everyone is standing on, and as it come on land, you see that its legs are infact a mass of vines, crawling and climbing and scrambling over each other slowly moving the dragon foward.* *suddenly, with lightning speed, one of the vines shot out and grabbed catc*

*continues sleeping*

whoa wats goin on? * as i see dspice leap into air and i sniff as the bubbles and watch it carefully* WHOA! *i try to struggle against the vines*

(i wonder how someone could sleep through that? )

OOC: You're grabbed, catc. Struggle, or something... IC: *sees that Tiamat is still sleeping* Dang, you're a deep sleeper!!! *sends a blast of icy silver into Tiamat's mind, waking her up suddenly and with full alertness* *"HELP OUT ALREADY!" I shout at her, then drop her, allowing her to fly herself*

OOC: You had better wake up.... you're falling... Nyeh heh heh, and I think you're perfectly awake. And the monster still has several vines to grab you with... IC: *swoops down, and does a preliminary attack on the swamp dragon, which fails miserably* *flies back up and around, circling the swamp dragon, trying to figure out a way to attack it*

*the swamp dragon wraps a vine around my stomach and pulls me out of the mud* *he raises me above his head and flings me as far as he can* *i land far away in the mud with a "thump"*

*gets up, finally noticing my surroundings*

*winces* nice to see you FINALLY woke up... *my arms and legs are stuck deep in the mud and im slowly sinking* crap crap crap crap crap... *the swamp dragon roars and glares at tiamat*

*gets up* *does the hokey pokey* up put your right foot in, you put your right foot out, you put your right foot in and you shake it all about...

swamp dragon: ???? *eyes tiamat suspiciously, then slings a vine at her*

*the dragon roars and slings more vines at tiamat, completely ignoring me as i try to get un-stuck*

*one of them grabs me* o... m.... g.... *goes girly-girl* did you just like, touch me?! like ewww!

*cant believe what im hearing* *pulls leg out of mud*

*the dragon is confused, and i suddenly regain my dragon abilities. i flame the vine holding me, causing it to disintegrate*

*pulls arm out of mud* and this is why i live in the forests, not swamps... *swamp dragon roars and throws more vines at tiamat*

*eyes flash orange, and i go completely dragon* *stares angrily at the swamp dragon*

Jenu: *is flying overhead the swamp dragon, and sees all that is going on* Oh crap, this is NOT good! *suddenly she swoops down and grabs Dragonspice, flying her up into the air until Dspice is ready to fly* *Still circling overhead, Jenu is completely perplexed by Tiamat* What is she doing? Swamp-Vine dragon: *roars at Tiamat and rushes forward* *shoots a vine leg out at Tiamat's leg, which she quickly burns away* *Shoots another vine at Tiamat's tail* *With some quick manuevering, she flicks that away as well* *Shoots a vine at Tiamat's neck, wich she also burns away before he can get a good grip* *after several vines shot at Tiamat's legs, all of which were burned, he shot out one long vine that instantly coiled around Tiamat's snout* *the vine clamped her mouth shut so she couldn't spew fire, and blocked her nostrils so that there would be no escape for fire* *Once Tiamat's fire was successfully put out, he wrapped several thick vines around her legs and tail and neck, completely pinning her* *with a sudden move, he cut off all of these vines, leaving only the one on her snout connected to him* *slowly, he started sinking under the murky water, pulling Tiamat along with him* Jenu: Oh crap....

*struggles, then farts a stream of fire that burns some of the vines, freeing my hind legs*

Swamp-vine dragon: *has submerged fully under water, and is dragging Tiamat by the snout into the water* Youuuuuu willlll noooooot escaaaaaape frooooom meeeeeee.... *suddenly he shoots out another vine that ties Tiamat's back legs and tail together, blocking the previous passage of fire* Jenu: We have ot get him, NOW!!! *rushes down to the swamp dragon, and plunges into the water* *suddenly, something slaps her face, and she is completely blinded* AAAGGH!! WHAT IS THIS??

*concentrates, then disappears and reappears a few feet away, momentarily free...*

*Tiamat finds that the vine on her snout remains, but she has freed herself from the other vines* Jenu: *grapples desperately with the thing on her face, when she feels a slap on both of her arms, and they are quickly pulled tight* *she struggles, but finds it hopeless* "Hmm... Tiamat's caught, if I stay caught, we'll go together. Then maybe we can help each other out of this mess..."

*pulls the vine off my face, breathing fire to help get it off me*

*wanders in* hey guys, i was- *notices battle* HOLY CRAP!!

OOC: Snap, now I'm caught, and I think you're caught, so I'm just going along. How much nicer can you be to me??? IC: *when I put up one last struggle, I feel a sharp prick, then all goes black*

(eh, i could be better. dad's acting like he always does, but it just gets worse day by day. he's threatened to send me back to texas to live with my mom, and i dont see how that could be a bad thing, except that i wouldn't be able to get on dragnix that much...)

im not really sure how to help, as i dont know what youve done and whats he has done. the only thing i can say is do what makes you happier. as for not being able to get on dragnix, why?

we dont have internet in the texas house, and my mom cant take me to the library that much cuz she now has a full-time job. and really, i wouldnt expect you to know how to help. it just makes me feel better to get it off my chest cuz i cant talk to anyone else #1- dad is ALWAYS around when im talking to mom, and #2- i dont know my new friends enough to open up to them.
