One - By Kelsey Kwolek

This was just me playing around with poses and using my much neglected colored pencils. Somehow, I got started listening to "One"~Metallica...then my mind suddenly filled with ideas. I used pen to outline, pencil to color, and charcoal for all the dark swirly mistyness. I then wrote in pen some partly modified lyrics from the song and erased the charcoal. I also used hairspray to get the charcoal set...and some of the pen melted. I at first curse my brains out, but when I wiped the ink up, it looked cool. I also entered this into a music inspiration contest held by Egyptian Dragon on DA. This is my character at about age 19 without the black fire scar, and then CDICA inscribed on her wrist by the ruler of Hell...and Elder Duria's cloak^^.
