YAY it's through! xD And to answer some of your...questions....Dragoness: It's (kinda) the main antagonist of the PS2 video game, Okami. I say kinda because...err...yeah. I'm not gonna spoil the game for anyone who hasn't played it yet. xD For 'can you teach me that' and 'how do you do it', probably not, but I can tell you how I did some things if you want to know? oO; And thank you all for the sweet comments. and HEY it's Mnementh!! What computer program do you use and how much $$$ is it?

Ah, Aiolos used to use Gimp ^^ which is free... but I think she has Photoshop now..

Interesting. And just where do you get Gimp? @Aiolos: the dragon is an interesting brain-child, even though it's not completely yours. And even though I'm not into video games, it seems to be an excellent 'pic'. Good job.

Raistlin: Yerr I know it's not my original character. xD I recently finished Okami and I always go through a huge fanarting phase when I end something I like. ;D And for this I used a trial version of Photoshop CS2, but only so I could use the channels feature and lift the lineart. CS2 costs around... $400-$600, so I really wouldn't suggest getting it if you're not going to use it on a day-to-day basis. I usually use Photoshop Elements 3, which is around $70, but it doesn't have a channel feature and thus cannot do the wonderous line-lifting technique. It also lacks a pen tool...GIMP however, is a little less advanced than PS Elements or regular PS, but it's free. It could probably acheive this coloring (I used the Burn and Dodge tool primarily, and the Gimp has both of those), but you'd have to go over the lineart or risk getting those nasty little white gaps. ._.

I'll make a note of that.

ahh.. the channel feature... It's something I've only heard of XDDD yay for doing lineart on the comp *takes forever* XD; or going lineless...

I can't do lineless. D: My tablet has started to cooperate with me though, so tracing over my lineart isn't a bitch anymore. But with big, complicated pictures like this, line-lifting is definitely the way to go! (I don't even understand the channel feature outside of that technique... xD)
