i stopped collecting cards a while ago because 1. they can become very expensive, even though they aren't as popular as they once were and 2. i can't play the game anymore because the closest place where they hold it is at Nintendo world in the city (nyc). i am not going to take a train or have my parents drive me into queens only to take the subway in every saturday. besides, it would cost them a lot of money and time, which is of the essence for my family. i still have cards, though, but only the ones i like. i recently gave away many that were extras and parts of sets to charity, but i kept the first 4 sets ever made (base, jungle, fossil, and base 2) i even have a first edition charizard from the base set that my dad bought on the net for only 15 bucksa few years ago! and yes, i checked; its genuine!
i also have all of the games for the gameboy. i need pokemon colliseum and gale of darkness for gamecube, though. i have the originals: red, blue, and yellow all the way up to the newer ones, like firered and leafgreen.
i agree with ya noname. on each they have different people for the elite four, with different types of pokemon. its crazy, and doesn't make a whole lot of sense either hey, noname, what is your fav party? i mean, what 6 pokemon do you have in it? (out of all the pokemon, up to deoxys, but not including the ones that haven't made their premiere on any game)

AND FOR ONLY $15? and i have all of the pok'emon games except for emrald im saving up and one last thing in the cave were mewtwo is its supose to open up when you beat the elite four but i BEAT THEM 10 TIMES NOW!!! and the guy wond get out of the way!

if it's one of the originals, maybe something's wrong with the game. if it's not, i really don't know how to help you out. you also defeated your rival at the end, right?

im talkin about my leaf green game the fire red i use to transfer more pok'emon to my leaf green but i baet my rivial RYU and got in the Hall of fame then the credits but when you look at what you did before it says you never chalenged RYU but then prof oak come and asks you on your pok'edex so i dont know

didn't know that myself. i just played through it and all. i usually train my pokemon like crazy to, but i make sure to train more than just 6. i have over 200 pokemon. i'll tell ya my party (just feel like it...)

Blazy isn't a dragon, but HE ROCKS MY SOX!!!!!! anyway, he's a fire breather, so..um...yeah...... and they all have awesome moves, a variety of types so they can face even the ones they're weak against. heck, i now CREAM the elite four WITHOUT using any items!

no... when I used to have Silver me and my team always beat the crap out of the elite four and just used them to gain tons of experience points. My team was Hiei (who was a Houndoom), Feraligator, Lugia, Umbreon, and then whoever else so I could raise their experience.

i remember silver! i also remember going into the city and going into the pokemon center (now nintendo world) and using that area they had there to get shiny and rare pokemon. i remember getting celebi, shiny feraligatr, shiny typhlosion, shiny suicune, shiny entei, shiny raikou...... ooooooh! i wish i could transfer those pokemon to my firered and leafgreen games.... nintendo should come up with a game-thing that would allow for that! if they came out with pokemon box, why couldn't they come up with something like that for older games, like silver and gold! GRRRRRRR!!!! *starts to sing the christmas song* siillver and golldd, silver and gold........

I guess they don't think that the people care about the older games anymore...
And, I loved Hiei the Houndoom for the same reason you like Blaziken; cuz he breathes fire and cuz he's my two favorite types combined into one, Fire and Dark!

did you know you could duplicat your pok'emon in sliver and gold? and my party is still week but good enough charsard LV80 butterfree LV63 zapedos LV54 moltres LV51 Articuno LV53 and my fav is CHARSARD!!!!

the onlypokemon i had were dragons, i h8ed al the other gay ones tho togepi was quite sweet, and ive just been playing on my gold and in the park u no the bug comps i cought a gold caterpie its nooow lv 20 butterfree and its turned pink errrrrrrr!

once i duplicated a lugia 20 times and lugia over floded my pc a lugia there a lugia here they were EVERY WERE!!! but i was fun beating the platew with them ever time they defeated one (witch was rare) anouther one poped up i could almost amagen there frustration

i duped my lv 100 dragonite 6 times and tought them all different moves i had one for each elite four person

i like yu-gi-oh cards better than pokemon. i have an original holligraph mew though

i also have an original holo mew card! and yeah, i play yugioh almost all the time, when i get a chance, anyway. and with the pokemon, i can't cause i don't have any place nearby anymore that does it.

go to any pc and put the pokemon you want to duplicate in a box that has no pokemon then change to a different box it will make you save the game so when it says saving dont turn off the power turn it off the turn it back on and look two duplicated pokemon! if you want more items the let the pokemon who you are duplicating hold the item

Can you do that in Ruby and Sapphire? I've beaten both of them, and I'm bored to tears with it...

it only works if the game makes you save the game when moving from one box to the next

@Mnementh: the newest out were firered and leafgreen back in the end of 2004. the story takes you back to the kanto region, with prof. oak and the original gym leaders. of course, they have many new features, some not even found in ruby or sapphire, or even emerald.

I hate the GBA too, Blackhawk. It's tiny and stupid.

I can't seem to get the light on the screen right.It's eiether too dark and you can't see,or the light hits it too much and you can't see.And I don't like the way you have to hold it...Ok now I'm just whingeing now ^^;

the gameboy sp has a built in light, so you don't have to go through anything like that. i got rid of the light and GBA for that reason.... now my younger brother plays with it. trust me, it's much easier, and you can play in pitch dark!

I have an SP, also! I hate that, too. I don't like hand-helds. Large, bulky, tv-requiring consoles are the way to go! ^^

Magikarp isn't in ssb. Goldeen (sp?) is. Mars: Me likies Anguirus (it was the first guy I used), Mega King Ghidorah, and Gigan. Yeah, the chicken guy.
