I say they are both extremely talented artists. Since they each use a different technique, it is hard to say who's the best. If the drawings were drawn in a similar fashion, it would be easier to judge the two.

I believe that they really drew it. If you look at the paper, there are smudges and spots from where the artist messed up or rubbed it. It also looks like it was done with colored pencils or something similar.
I've noticed something about Raven's pics. This one has "Raven" at the bottom. The gypsy one has "Evrate" or "Evrae" on the bottom with two R's, one rightways and one backwards. The black one has "Draco Splenden" (or something) at the bottom and the same two R's. What's up with that? Is he/she naming the dragons, or are those other artists? All the dragons are the same style, and the hand-writing is the same. So, I'm gonna guess that it's the name of the dragons. I just thought it was weird.

I belive this a comp. dragon because in the actual picture there is no evidens of pencil marks or any thing like that. And i don't think ANYONE can smudg that good.

NO! You're NOT getting it! Look at the white space in the bend of the tail! There ARE smudges in the white spot. There's another smudge near the edge of the paper near the end of the tail! Don't you see it?!

I think it was scaned on a bad scanned and that is the reason fore the smudges.

maybe.but i think it's colouring pencil smudges.If it was computer or ink then there would be and enormous blob of brown and gold right on the tail

It probably took ages to do but it looks natural enough

I simply LOVE this dragon. It's going to be hard to beat, but I might try to do sometihing like that, either with colored pencil or oil based paint

oil paints are hard to work with but when you get them right they look really good

I've had some bad experiences with oils..You really have to be on a master's level to work with them.

I usually get the hang of using different forms of art; i picked up acrylic paints within a few weeks time. I just dn't like water color or temperate paints cause they can pretty messy

i can use any paints really but i find oils minorly hard because they have a funny smell depending on what type you get.....But hey who gives a damn about that?....... i certainly dont

i wish i could send in some of my work but the new scanner i got dousnt work and i am terrible at computer art but oh well i like this pic and apart from the wrong sided thumbs it is perfect.
