I love thorn, pretty much because he's Mur- ehn, not gonna spoil it for people who hav'nt read the book, but I like hime beacue hes my favorite characters dragon.

even if you haven't read Eldest, the fortune telling scene in Eragon is just about enough to figure out the rest of the plot for the rest of that book as well as the two others. there aren't too many suprises in Eldest, and judging from Paolini's track record there won't be that many in the next one either.

I'm gonna read the chronicals of narnia, just as soon as i'm done with Year of the Griffin, a Walk in the Woods and Eragon (for the second time. i've already read it once).

I read 3000 words per minute. Up to 7000 when I want information only. so I zip through books.

i've only gotten up to about 900 something, but i'm about to take some course to help improve my reading speed because it's so slow.

i challnge yu all! im sooooo slow a lot o the time. reely, the only books i zip thru r the 1s by Anne McCaffrey. somtimes i take bout a month, dependin on how busy i m, but if im luky, i reed a book n a week er so.

HA!!! it took me a whole freakin MONTH to finish Eldest!!! (partially because I had to read two books for school and finish another, so It really only took me about a week and a half)

it took me two days, but only because my dad took it from me halfway through the first day.

Makla: Not that great! What are you talking about?! I could work on a pic for years and it still wouldn't turn out that good. My family thinks I can draw great, but your pics make mine look like chicken scratch. If your pics ain't great, then what is?
Aiolos: ~go Sam!~ I like Sam. I like in The Two Towers when they (can't remember name) ask him: "Who are you? His bodyguard?" And Sam defiantly answers: "His gardener." That was funny.

My favorite scene is Minas Morgul on ROTK. It's annoys the heck outta my friends. We have surround-sound so I can turn it up reeeeeeeaaalllly loud and Minas Morgul is the part with the Witch King, you know, where he does that creepish scream?

Isn't that the part where Frodo gets stabbed? I don't remember. I love the part in The Return of the King where Eowyn kills the Ringwraith. "No man can kill me." "I am no man!" That was one of the best parts.

Frodo gets stabbed in the first movie, my fav part is in the third. I also like 'ride of the Rohirrim'. You know, where the Rohirrim (or Riders of Rohan) are charging onto the big battle at Minas Tirith? it's in the third movie, too.

Oh! I think I know what part you're talking about now! The part where it's that long, drawn-out scream that hurts everybodies ears?

Well, I'm really the only person in my family that's watches the movies. My little sis might watch a little bit of it, and my little brother likes stuff like that just b/c of all the fighting and dragons but he doesn't really get it. They hate it when I put the movie in b/c they know that I have control of the t.v. for a good three hours. (they really don't like the stuff i like.)

oh..poor you. I don't have any human siblings, so I don't have to worry about it. Plus, we have four T.V.s in our house so I don't have to worry about taking the tv.

Having sibs can be a pain in the butt sometimes, but it's a blast. We also have another t.v. in the house, but we just use it to play games on. It doesn't pick up hardly any channels.

hmm. I usually watch tv and play Gamecube (wee!) on the living room tv. We also have one in my room, my parents room and out on the patio.

The other t.v. is in my room. We play Gamecube on it!

Hey, I didn't know who Thorn was, but only because I can't find any copies of Eragon (did I spell it right???) or Eldest at the library, and if I could find Eldest, I wouldn't read it until I read Eragon. I hate reading the following books of a set before I read the first one. I get all confused about events and characters. And I can't believe that joey jerk said something else!! I say we all band together to find him and beat the snot out of him. No, we can't do that, some of us aren't on Earth and a lot of us could be arrested and tried as adults. Besides, we're all one being split into separate realities, so to do that would only hurt ourselves.

first of all i have read both eragon and eldest also that THING is not thorn. thorn is on the front cover of eldest (i own both in hardcover) and if u all did find me id take a metal bat and smash your brains all over da so stop being retarded and makla no 1 likes a person who spreads rumors so shut up if u know whats good for u

The things they place on the covers of books hardly EVER look the way the author discribs them. Perfect example: Dragon Rider. The picture of Firedrake on the front is COMPLETELY different then the pictures inside that Cornelia Funke drew (she is the author). Second; it's not very impressive that you own both Eragon and Eldest in hardcover. Eldest dosen't have a paperback version yet, and the Eragon one is a cheap peice of crap. Third; if your SO annoyed with us, joey, then why are you still here? this THING looks more like Thorn then the one that John Jude Palancar drew. Same thing with Makla's version of Saphira, better then Palancar's.
