This was originally a doodle but I decided to complete the drawing. I think it came out pretty good. It was meant to be a complete, flowing creature rather than appearing "pasted" together.

Heh.. this was really originally just a doodle... I was really practicing different styles of drawing different animals, and... he happened. I'm making him a character in my story!

Yes, original ! I think it just need more colour, but it is maybe just a problem with your scan. I know it too... Nevertheless, this...creature is well done ! Good work !

About dA, yes, it does not like uploading large and direct scans. I think that colouring them on the computer would help, since there would be less colours to load and therefore take forever.

i was like that about two months ago...until i decided to draw a dragon and i saw that it was a hundred times better than one that i drew last year...then i did want to get better

Well I still hate my claws.... usually I dedicate a few pages worth of my sketchbook to drawing just closeups of claws. I could send them in if you want.

I don't know. Usually most of the time spent on my pics are on its legs! I'm glad you like them; they took absolutely FOREVER! I guess if you keep practicing then they'll improve, then you'll have to erase less and less on your pictures! x3

@Jewel: you can improve by looking at the crit. you get on your pictures. You can also look at other people's art.

Alright... I haven't really sent anything in yet. But I'm working on Ruby, Zap's sister. I also have a dragon form of a Naruto character to send in. I need to quit procrastinating. Embarrassed

Oh, and the purple dragons above Zap on this pic are his spirit helpers. They just happened to be dragons. Ruby's spirit helpers are cardinals.
