Personally, I think characters are generally based off at least one aspect of the characters' creator, so it's not really unusual that the writer made a character based on himself. I mean, one of the definitions of character is "one of the attributes or features that make up and distinguish an individual" so it only makes sense that a character is based on one of those said attributes or features. It's completely human to want to be a character in a fantasy world going on some kind of adventure... and who cares if he's gay?

Hoho; you are pretty good! I love how you set up the body porportionwise, and how you did the dragon's head, however, the legs are a bit off, and you need a little detail work. It seems you were albeit lazy when it came to the girl on the dragon's back. I also love the wings, and the placement of them. Great work!
