I'm not Christian. I'm Pagan, Wiccan(a specific type of witch) to be more precise, and I have my own beleifs in what God is. I don't believe in one perfect dietic being and one dietic being of all evil. I believe there's good and evil in all living creatures and divine forces, and also that the divine(in Wiccan terms, the God and the Goddess) are part of every living thing and are both life and death. I also believe in Karma and the three-fold law. Some people really would call me a Satanist or an Anti-Christ for these beleifs though, which aggrivates me

I'm supposively Catholic XP, baptised. My mom's bf thinks I should be Catholic because I'm baptised(I was 2, I had no choice) While I was in foster care I lived with severl Christian families. I personally never could truly be Christian, but I believe in religious freedom. Wicca is cool. We have a basic law, often reffered to as the Rede. "If Thy harm none, do as thy wilt" or something like that. Do as you wish, but harm none. We cast spells, wear pentagrams which actually, against Hollywood themed sorcery, symbolize the elements and their unity as wall as magic and protection. I also do sort of worship plants and nature. Though many Wiccans define the God and Goddess their own way, I think alittle more practically. I believe in one deitic force, or energy, that is personified as the God and Goddess and that you can name and summon certain aspects of it in spell or ritual. The Goddess is the earth and the waters and the moon, but also life and death. The God is the sun, the sky, fire, and ruler of all the wild creatures. Its pretty fascinating stuff whether you can believe it or not

lol. Well, actual Satanists I guess and some old sacraficial stuff...maybe even some Pagan religions. I know Wicca is a good religion, but it beliefs don't really define a person. There's whacko's in all religions. Oh, if you look at some super haunted houses, they have ghosts in them that are truly Satanic and evil, and even harm the living...I watch History and Travel Channel sometimes just for haunted hotels and stuff...

well, Little Shop of Horror is cute and funny. Guy finds a plant and its just kind of a baby at first and he does feed it alittle blood but it grows bigger and learns to talk and work a gun and he has to feed it bigger meals but he's a low-esteemed wimp and there's a song for every part of the move. The Blob is scary in the 50's and 60's, but now its just funny. The way it eats people is comical. Tales from the Crypt!

Go Kelsey! Wicca is awesome because of its base in nature. Any kind of spiritual ideas that are based in nature are ones that I like. c: I like a lot of different religions because of the mythology surrounding them. I used to shy away from Christianity because of my experience with certain *ahem* christians (like Kelsey said, there are radicals in any religion), but as I watched shows about some of the more interesting aspects of the Bible I was fascinated. I have an incredibly logical side as well as a spiritual side, so I find myself combining spiritual ideas with scientific ones often times. I love Karma the most because it's spiritual yet logical. It follows nature in that it is derived from the repciprocity of things. What goes around comes around.

I believe in reincarnation. That's pretty much all I believe in. I don't think of things like who created the world. I believe in living your own life day by day until you die and then becoming a different being or animal. ;3

There are so many things that have been taken out of the Bible... it amazes me....

I find that Christianity is the most logical of all religions, except for atheism. However, for the mystical, magical side of things, it leaves things to be desired, so I sorta came up with a little bit of my own beliefs, derived from several different "earthy" religions to cover that bit. Reincarnation...*shudders* One life on this crappy planet is good enough for me, I don't won't any more than that! But Jesus, no matter what you believe, had some pretty awesome things to say. ^_^

Christianity itself isn't disheveled, it's Christians. So many Christians have so many different ideas as to how Christianity should be that it's really hard to try and decipher it all. And also, a LOT of people say they are Christians, and their really not. It's kinda horrible, actually, what some people who claim to be christians do...

Exactly, and to me a religion is defined by the people in it. But yeah, there are some nasty people who use religion as a facade... or an excuse.

For me, a religion is what it teaches. And, as far as I can tell, Christianity has the best teachings. But, it also happens to be the most commonly used "mask" religion. Which kinda sux that it's used like that. Also, the religion is split so much, its really confusing.

@jENU: Yes, unfortunately, I agree with you, about people saying they are but are not. It's worse at my school, since it's a Christian school, but yet you hear people cussing like a lot and what not. Once, we had chapel, and only around 4 people out of 400 or somehting brought their Bible.

THe thing is though, that's not God at all. This is one of the main reasons why I don't look to "Christians" for the religion, but rather the Bible. People have screwed around with the Bible so much that it's horrible!

Don't judge by the people, they will always fall short of what they are really meant to be. Before you reject christanity, maybe just try reading the bible.
