It is pretty good, but I suggest using a finely sharpened pencil tip next time. the hair(or is it fire? sry, I pick up a feel of fire on the tail) can be done better by flicking the pencil giving it a softened edge. The dragon also looks rather stiff and stocky, lacking in fluency. The back legs could be altered to be made smoother, more proportionate, maybe a tad longer. You know where to put lines for muscles rather well, but adding a softer curve in the lines might make it seem more lively. The wings are also pretty stiff. Try shortening the shoulder-to-elbow peice and make the elbow of the wing more like the elbow for the forearms.Overall I do like the details, and you did a good job on the feet and the dragon's expression

I agree with what Kelsey said. :3 I enjoy the dragon's cartoony expression and the overall structure is well done. I think the biggest problem is the wings, but Kelsey gave you some tips to improve those. c:

Wings looks puny and disproportionnal, legs need work, and personnaly I don't really like the feet, but head and chest are good, and I find the shadding rather good too. It is promising, you just need to train and practise, and your drawing will soon improve !

i personly want 2 practis on the legs...they nead a litle work

just observe animals and what other artists do. it just takes practice and no matter how good you get, there stall always be a critic to help you improve...the ones in art club can be harsh sometimes XD

wel...i kinda started this drawin durin history...and mayb i was suposed 2 be takin notes....
i also used photosop 2 whiteout al the lins from the notebok papr

yeah, I can see where that applied. the lines are vaguely visable in the dragon. I've had to do the same thing before cuz I always use cheap paper XP

i dont kno how 2 use photoshop! i am the worst with thins like tha!

photoshop's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. the tools are pretty basic. If you look up some good tutorials you can be amazed with how simple alot of it really is. Though, when I use photoshop to color it does take weeks

Work on the wings, maybe some proportion, but overall it's a nice pic.

Good parts: 1: The head is well drawn and well-angled, and looks like a perfect mix between cartoony and realistic. 2: The chest is well formed and proportioned, and leads smoothly into the front legs. 3: The feet, although they can use some work, are well drawn and shaped. 4: Overall shading and detail is well done, and though it isn't perfect, it looks realistic and certainly promising. Bad parts: 1: The biggest problem are the wings. Hate to tell you this, but the elbow joint does NOT go all the way to the edge of the web. It just screws up all the air lift with that design. Next time, make sure that the opposite side of the wing-elbow has less, if no web at all. Also, the wing needs more muscle, both in the joining and throughout the wing-arm. One last thing, and this takes a lot of practice and subtlety, is the motion of the wing, so it doesn't look like a bunch of sticks glued together. But that'll come with practice, don't worry. 2: The legs seem a little stiff and disproportionate, and sort of throw off the whole picture a little bit. Don't know what to tell you here, but look at your drawings with a keen eye when your going back and fixing everything. 3: The tail is too short. A short tail on a dragon makes it look short and stubby and unbalanced, you need to be careful with short tails so that it doesn't look like the dragon either got its tail chopped off or is about to fall over. When drawing the sketch of it, try to draw the tial a little longer than necessary, and going from there. Sometimes really long tails look really cool. 4: Try using a well sharpened pencil and quality paper next time, if you have it. It never hurts (unless of course you accidentally stab yourself with it, lol.)
