Toshiro Hitsuguya, the Child Prodigy, 10th squad captain of the Soul Reapers from the anime/manga series, Bleach.
He has to be my favorite captain of the lot, I mean, after all, his zanpaku-to (Or embodiment of spiritual power) is an ice dragon, which definitely adds coolness points. And, while most of the other captains are stuck-up jerks, he is really cool! Literally!
He looks older in this picture than he should... Oh well. And I hate it when pen melts with hairspray. I mean, I was trying to seal the charcoal background, and the pen suddenly decides to melt! D: Well, it still turned out okay, even though the lines are all messy and purple,
when they are supposed to be clean and black and... *Rambles on*
This took about 3 1/2 hours
Tools used were: Ballpoint pen, Charcoal, colored pencils, a blue highlighter, sharpie pens, kneaded eraser, and hairspray.

Kenpachi scares me, and so does Ichimaru with his never-ending fox smile. But, then again, they both rock as well. Mini-captain here is my fave, though. I've been watching tv and being on DA a lot. Nothing quite like watching Dirty Jobs or the Dog Whisperer. That and my work load for my Creative Arts Focus Program is starting to mount on me.
NIghthawk: Kenpachi is scary! but hes hilarious when he has Yachiru with him! such a funny contrast! a scary guy like him who loves nothing but killing has a lil pink-haired 5 year old lieutenant riding him all the time. talk about irony! @Delbin: Haha, yeah! I actually dunno why... I have only seen up to episode 30 so far, but I'm still watching! From what my cousin told me, she was just an ordinary nameless spirit that went up to him and touched his sword, and he named her... If that has any significance. Heck yeah, Gin is creeepy! But I love him all the same! I can't help but wonder if his face is stuck that way, because he seriously wears no other facial expression other than that freaky smile of his... Yet, he is my cousin's favorite character, so what the heck. @Pyrah: Oh, I see. Darn work! I actually don't watch TV that much, aside from watching Dr. Who and Supernatural when they are on. Well, it is good to se ya around! :3

another place to watch Bleach is dubhappy.com they have up to the current episode. the dub and sub are both there. oh and by the way Nighthawk! since your a Hitsugaya fan youll love this! a second Bleach movie is coming out and its all about him! well, its already out of theaters in Japan but theyre guessing subbers will have it subbed by September! cant wait for it. i saw theatrical trailers for it and it looks awesome! just thought yud like that since yu like him. ;P

I think the kid is inspiring because he was still able to do so much after going through something that traumatizing. Plus, I brought it up to counter Babyd's statement, "Halfs are essential...if I didn't have half a brain I would clearly not be able to function."
