@jenu- it is believed that whales evolved from dog like creatures. those creatures eventually changed into otter like creatures, then more whalish creatures that had a crocodile-ish waddle on land, then an underwater creature that looks more like a whale. this evidence is supported by the fact that whales have vestiagial structures where their hind libs once were on their ancestors.

Aha! But my sources say that whales are more closely related to ungulates not carnivores...

Tiamat, don't be stupid, if we need to fight, you won't be able to protect him in your arms, he'll get hurt worse, and besides, this is the bag i used to carry my dog in when she was little, he'll be mnore comfortable, you can carry him in that *i offer my backpack to Tiamat* see, it's all padded inside and stuff, he'll be realy comfortable, and you can carry it on your chest.
