Like it but needs work. Legs and wings out of porportion. Like the tree but Makla is more me.

(and it gets a little annoying, too) Look at the positive. Find something about the pic you like, even if it's something as small as the way you shaded it. I do this, and it makes me feel better about my art. Maybe you should try it. (oh and it's nice to see you're back)

srry alwys said dis. for description dis.---> as i walked by a forin sent wafered through the air. i looked for the source but only found a few scarce trees in the area. as i walked by one of them a hissing sound snaked through the air as i turned to look into the trees. there it was a simular dragon perched in the tree beaming at me. *sigh* it's not that i'm not confidant it's just that i know my art can be better and for some reason it never is. i've been told i expect too much of myself but it's just so frustraiting when you have a picture that you're dying to put onto paper and you can never get it right and you have to let the idea die!

But you don't have to let the idea die,Makla.Just draw sketches of it a few times and see how It turns out.And the Idea will stay In your head if you keep thinking about it.

What helps me if I can't get draw out my idea and I'm afriad it'll die is that I write it down. Describe it with elaborate words so you can remember every detail.

That is a good idea. I usually draw it ubtil my rubber runs ot.

I see a few mistakes, too. Such as the tail that's wrapped around the tree.

Makla, if u ever feel that your pic isnt coming out the way u want it, improvise and change it alittle or picture it a different way. if that doesnt help, take some deep breaths and remember, u r a better artist than a whole lot of people in this world. (i sometimes get caught up in the pic too. its just an artist thing)

but i don't WANT to change the pic! i ALWAYS do that and i never like the idea! i want to draw it EXACTLY the way i see it! and i never bloody can! argh!

Well, start picturing the pictures in your head in a way you know you CAN draw them. And whats wrong with the tail around the tree?

It's too long? Anyway, Makla. I know you probably don't want advice from a crappy artist like me but... well.. just um... plan! What I do is do the skeleton first and add details!

No, it's all screwy. It starts out fat, then gets skinny, then fat, then skinny, then fat, then skinny and so on.

there isnt anything wrong with the tail. its just showing the top of the tail where the spikes are, then the side of the tail, and so on.

Ramoth, i already do that. but then you still have to get the skeleton right. and what do you do when it comes to scenery? you can't draw a skeleton of that.

E.D.: Um, no. Look at the second coil. It gets skinny far to fast. The fatter part just stops, then goes to the skinnier part.

i just see it as the tail turning at that point when it becomes thinner
