I think the picture is great, but I don't particularly care for Asian dragons.

I didn't totally care for Aisian dragons for a while because I was first introduced to the European type, and therefore only believed in them, but when I got more used to Wyverns(which are my favorits now), knuckers, lindmworms, lungs, and hybrids, I warmed up to it and now I'm even trying to draw aisians.

Yeah true...there are some really weird anatomy things with those guys but I love the designs more than the realism. LOL...don't worry. Lots of people look at those pics and say "What the heck?"

I like looking at Chinese dragons, I can just never figure out how to draw them. Western dragons are much easier to draw.

Western dragons tend to protray more power and ferocity, while eastern dragons are peaceful and bringers of good fortune. Hmmm...I like ferocity and power, but sometimes sentimentality takes over and I look at eastern dragons for inspiration.

Mmmm...that doesn't mean eastern dragons aren't powerful. Often in Chinese myths they controlled the rain and the flooding of the four rivers, bringing or withholding fertile land to make crops.

True, true. Generally good natured spirits more than blood-thirsty, fire-breathing giants. Although I care very much about western dragons.

kwet-cel-coat-ul...I think LOL...he's a giant feathered serpent. There's some discussion about whether or not he has wings. He's a god/creature of South American legend and religion.
