*... back when i lived in georgia, and it had snowed and i made a snowman with my dad, only to have all the snow melt the next day; my pride at finishing a fort with my friends; spending endless hours playing halo and halo 2, staring at the screen...*

*getting my own room for the first time, opening the door to find-- suddenly, a werewolf tackles me from behind, breaking the contact between me and tiamat* *the werewolf sinks his claws into my side, snapping at me*

*i shudder, then watch in anger as the werewolf attacks dspice*

*i grab the werewolf's muzzle, trying to keep him from biting me* *i swing my tail around and smack the wolf off me*

*i strain against the plants* *the 2nd werewolf cuts me lose with his claws, only to have me, instead of wanting to tear apart dspice, to tear apart him...*

*another werewolf tackles me and pins me down* *i struggle against him, but he presses his paw into my cut side* *i roar in pain, not able to struggle*

*i kill the 2nd werewolf with a swipe of my paw, then i come behind the werewolf on dspice. i raise my paw, and punch his back, snapping it so that he bends at a weird angle*

*i roll out from under the werewolf, taking ragged breaths* t-tiamat.. are you... are...

cmon *i grab dspice by the arm, dragging her away from the troop of werewolves that are coming from the opposite direction*

where... *blood drips on the ground* where are we going? ....

anywhere *grunt* but here! *continues dragging dspice, until we reach a secluded area of the woods. a bunch of bushes have grown together to form a small hut shaped structure* *we go inside*

*i grimace and lay on the ground, panting* thanks tiamat... i thought... for sure you... were... you know...

*is silent, then walks out of the hut and covers our tracks*

*lays in the dirt, hugging my side*

*comes back then collapses on the dirt, immediately falling asleep... or seeming too*

*watches tiamat for a while, then i close my eyes, falling asleep*

*eventually falls asleep...*

*snores slightly*

(ok back) *during the night, my eyes glowed orange behind my closed eye-lids. by morning, i was back in human form, wearing a greay jacket over a red shirt and jeans*

*in the morning i am in human form, my green shirt stained red on one side, my camo pants ripped at the calves*

*dspice wakes before me, as i usually sleep til 11:00 on non-school days*

*i lay in the dirt, looking for something interesting to... um, look at*

*rolls over in my sleep, turning my back to dspice. i sigh, then murmur something as i dream (its not about jack) *

*i glance over at tiamat, wondering what she's dreaming*

*i flinch, then murmur again*

*i painfully sit up and watch tiamat* *i grab a twig and throw it at her* tiamat... wake up...

*i roll over. my face has a hard look on it* *my expression turns to worried*

??? *i pick up a pebble and throw it at tiamat* *it hits her in the face* oops...

*i flinch again, then roll back over* (if you were in my girlscout troop, youd know how hard it can be to get me to wake up though most of the time im just stubborn and pull the sleeping bag over my head)

( ) *scoots over to tiamat* *i shake her shoulder* tiamat... wake up... *when she doesn't, i sigh and my hand glows green* *a hole appears in the dirt* *the hole slowly fills with ground water* *i cup my hands and pour wwater on tiamat's face*

*i wipe it off. i softly murmur a discernable word* why?

wha... "why"? because... i want you to... wake up... thats why...

*im not paying attention to dspice* why am i...? *i roll back over*

??? oh tiamat... why can't you... just wake up... *i poke tiamat in the ribs*

*i shove dspice's hand away, too absorbed in my dream*

*sigh* i give up... *i lay back on the ground* *the sound of footfalls can be heard outside* *i sit back up, listening*

*i twitch. my dream moves to a happier one, and i smile*

*a growl is heard outside the bush-fort*

*i still sleep. a glimmer of orange is seen. inside me, the first tiamat is fighting against the werewolf part. she needs me asleep so that i do not feel intense pain*

*sniffing is heard* *the growl is louder as a brown nose sticks itself into the bush-fort: it's the werewolf* *i stand up quickly and put my hands together, glowing green* *highly scented flowers pop up everywhere, hiding our scent* *the brown nose twitches and leaves* *i plop on the ground, panting*

*i mutter again, this time, i sound agitated*

*i glance at tiamat, wondering if i should try to wake her up again* *i sigh and lay back down, hugging my side*

*i cry out, then fall silent. the orange flicker disappears*

*i watch tiamat with concern* *i sigh* i know i shouldn't... it'll be for nothing... *i scoot over to tiamat and sit next to her* *i extend a line of thought to her*

*i suddenly wake up, yawning* mornin' (i g2g now, see you tomorrow!)

NUU! you can't leabe me aww awone!! *cries* by tiamat! see ya later!

*stretches*

well, well... you decide to finally wake up? you know i saved our butts just a few minutes ago.. *referrs to werewolf poking nose into bush-fort* how can you sleep so long?

hm? *thinks i feel a trendil of thought in my mind* thats just me. it really depends on what time i go to bed at. i prefer getting at least 10 hours of sleep, but of course ill easily go over that...

*laughs, then winces* hold on a sec... *makes healing herb* so what now? i'm pretty sure the werewolves gave up when we weren't found all night...*presses herb on side* you think its safe to go out?

*still cant ignore the tendril of thought in my mind* they will probably sleep during the day, so we might as well rest up *a birds song drifts through the forest*

ok... you want one? *offers healing herb* they're not that strong, though...

i-im fine... *thinks about my dream...*

??? you sure? *eye's tiamat with concern*

..... *lays back down, half-closing my eyes*

*shakes my head, trying to clear my thoughts* we should find some water. we could make a stew or something*

*opens one eye* already done for ya.. *points to hole in ground* (remember when i tried to wake you up with water? )
