hppy b-day Dragoness! Thankies to everyone, @Jenu:I'm not entirely heartless, just don't know how to express it, pluss i'm depressed quite often. the story of Arthrenix is simple. Blinix Targon, king of Torganra Vistrez at the time, was torturing the ancient civilization of Yalaka. The stars felt pity and bestowed upon Yalaka a magnificent fox-like dragon, given the name Arthrenix Starspawn. He guarded Yalaka valiently, until Blinix became jealous of Yalaka's new found prosperity, and trapped Arthrenix in the Human World. A woman named Vernexia acused of witchcraft met him injured in a feild not far from her hiding place and welcomed him inter her home. She healed his injuries and befriended him. Vernexia soon found Arthrenix had many strange powers, like to create and control elements, control the weather with his horns, and even turn black when he was angry. One day, the soldeirs in the village found Arthrenix and Vernexia was trialed and was to be executed in three days. When she was about to be hung, and Arthrenix, slayed, Arthrenix learned how to master his strange powers and used the elements to save them both. Then, Blinix and his dragon, Plague, attacked the village days later. Vernexia picked up the information while in hiding, and Arthrenix sought revenge. They joined a bunch of slayers in a journey to kill Blinix. They defeated Blinix and killed his dragon. from that day on, the villiage honored Vernexia and arthrenix, and vernexia even married the lead dragon slayer, who swore not to slay dragons ever again. Unfortunantly, when arthrenix returned to Yalaka, the city was mostly destroyed, and Arthrenix disapeared in grief, never seen again. The few survivors from Yalaka lived on and told the story as Arthrenix had before his disapearance. Today, Pentalgians honer him as a symbol of love by wearing jewelry or practicing other religous forms of love to express their love, the love that saved both Arthrenix and Vernexia, and the love Vernexia thought she'd never find, in the dragonslayer she married.
