thanks Estuary, again, I handle reptiles all the time and I've heard alot about salmonella, nasty disease it is, leaves you in the hospital relying on fluids for life!

not once it affects you. Its a horrid disease that can come from reptiles or improperly handled meat. It causes vomiting and diarea I heard, and you need to be in a hospital getting constant fluids so you don't die of dehydration. *shivers* fate worse than death, disease, then death.

for most people it's not that bad unless you already have a weak immune system, most recover pretty quickly and are just sick as in no need to go to a hospital ^_^ it also comes from uncooked eggs but I still eat the batter anyway XDD

its not that they're uncooked really, but if they are uncooked, they are more likely to have bacteria that could cause salmonella. Uncooked eggs are perfectly safe actually, theres just a risk that it isn't clean.

Its only a risk, and sometimes, how I see it, risks are worth taking. For example, cancer is apparently cause by everything know to man, even the sun, and if you expect me to sit in an airtight box the rest of my life, you've got another thing commin'! I've eaten the batter before, and never got sick, theres a chance, but I'm not sure how worth it it is, but it would suck never knowing what cookie dough tastes like.

cool. Has she ever mixed snake venom with blood? Theres one species of snake that has venom that turns blood into this gelatinous gooey stuff, its awsome! Can you imagine what would happen if your blood was jello and couldn't flow through your veins anymore? it could lead to amputaion, or worse, death. Other types of venom mess with your nerves, paralyzing you, but this was just gruesome!
