Honestly I only came on because I was looking for an old piece that I never posted on DA. I'm an oldie. I decided to look around and see how things have progressed. It's not quite what I expected or hoped for, honestly. I was expecting a whole new reign of noobs I haven't meant before doing what I and the other oldies used to do and getting a bunch of "hello new person/who the hell are you" comments while a few straggler oldies are like "OMG, it's a ghost!." I didn't expect....deadness... This was a wonderful site and it's honestly kind of heartbreaking seeing it so quiet. I think I'll stick around a while and post something. Maybe I can bring a little life back, even if it's just an iota

it is sad that it's dead around here, for about four months I have been the only one who has been on here consistently. that's why I got excided when I saw your posts, made me not totally lose all hope for this site. this trully is a site worth saving with all the awesome art and the awesome RP's which I've read. none RP's like everyone here anymore, I kinda miss it all.

Well, hopefully it'll come back a bit. This may just be a temporary rut the site is going through, although 4 months is a long rut. Around Summer it may get livelier. Yes, quite a big rut. And I've been here around two, three years solid I think...maybe more I can't remember. And yes, I am a shapeshifter; dragon-wolf mainly...but personally I think I took everything a bit too far..by making myself different personalities as well; but that can be discussed else where. It's dragnix. Rambling is characteristic I'm a reptile shapeshifter. Any reptile, dragons included, though I have a main form which is basically a bipedal lizard. The character is currently in suspension though for her story to be revised, but I still consider her my online identity. Yea, I saw that in your profile, first thought was an argoinian in skyrim, which considering is kinda accurate don't you think? And if you don't mind, do you have any other abilities besides shape shifting?

I've never played Skyrim but having look on google it's as close a comparison as any other lizard anthro. My main reptila form's body is more dinosaurian though and no horns or anything fancy, although I do have silver-coated blades at my ankles and wrists that I've been debating on making into bony protrusions instead. There are plenty of pictures on here. I do have a human form, she is a magician and demon hunter. Lightly olivine skin, brown eyes, mid-height, brown shoulder-length hair. She can do basic spells and her background in extra-worldly magic makes shapeshifting easier for her than other Varsuit (the species she is modeled after). Because of experiments in Black Magic she has a hellhound in her head that she will turn into when in a fit of rage. The hellhound, Tarveka, is very fast and exudes great amounts of Hellfire. In this state Laura can only be reclaimed when Tarveka has been knocked out or exhausted. This figure is both Laura's weakest and most powerful form as she cannot quite turn into an Ancient Dragon, a task she has been attempting for some time. She also has a strong background of acquaintances. Werewolves, demons, second dimensional animals, and others. Now I'm rambling. I suppose I should also mention I've been kind of haunting the site. Again, it's nice to back in this place and it's exciting talking with someone one here, even if it's only one person and not the little cult I assumed would have taken my place

She was invented during my time in foster care and developed during middleschool so she is definitely representative of a chaotic and dramatic period of my life. I haven't read anything yet but I will at some point. I'm currently reading an annoying sci-fi religion book for school and dragnix is my only excusable distraction right now. Yes of course, the ID...woo, well yea, of course...I think. If you remember my name then you must of been around, I've created an impression (for the comparative time I've been here) by just going back three pages in the "last comments" widget thingy you can see the RP's that are recent...well, most recent. Anyway, i do understand your creation of her, mainly cause its similar to how I came to be part of this site. Wasn't happy with my life, found this, been around ever since, and Klepter came about around the same time...eleven I think it was, but I really decided on keeper cause klepter was just my nick name irl from my friend (cause I "stole" random stuff)

I honestly did consider sneaking myself into the recent rp as a gecko on the wall or something but considering the activity levels and the fact I don't know anyone I figured it would be lame to do so. I'm not surprised to hear the idea behind your character creation. this site attracts a sort of cult mentality where only really odd people seem to end up here. Not odd like emo or goth or gay but just genuinely, uniquely, and unlabelably odd. I recognize that everyone on this site has a mentality for being strange, eccentric, and often outcasted. It's part of why this is such a great place. Everyone gets along so well because no one here is in a position to judge or be judged. Only to share joy and camaraderie. I do hope everything is better for you now though, of course. eleven was also the age I became active on here. Either that or twelve. It's a tough age to be because it's when friends stop coming easy and society begins to become less abstract. I'm sorry if this is inappropriately deep. Must be nostalgia

Heheh, I'm not sure what happened, but I have a kinda semi mellow semi excited feeling, mainly cause of all this. But I agree, the outcasts are here...been here for a while, after everyone else left I figured it would be a while until it picked back up again, but now I'm starting to see that things I like are becoming less popular and unknown. Welp, being a 90's kid sure had its perks back then, well at least the only 5 years I spent through it. I'm just glad that this site is still up and people still visit...can't leave the place where I meet my first long term friend...I'm getting sappy, which is usually not like me.

I'm sorry I'm so contagious I'd say I'm a mixture of intrigued and thoughtful. I've been like this for a while because of recently returning to the internet and noticing everything on my DA account has died. And then of course being back here is kind of a slap in the face. I looked on an old page og my art and saw someone I barely remember comment "I wish Kelsey would come back." It's awkwardly funny because I remember complaining like that when Raven, Makla, Mars, Aiolos, Nyliir, Mnementh, and Akira were leaving. Even though I was a 90's kid I don't actually consider having been one. I was always outside back then. I never experianced half the things other 90's kids talk about. As far as society changing today....just....nyeh. people as a whole are a pain in the ass. I'm sure they were still that way before I began to notice though. I personally treasure the things I like that others don't know or care about. I have a natural tendancy to dislike fads so when I like something no one else does, like "Cats" and Dean Martin music, those things become special and it's actually kind of fun seeing how people react to that. Really? I loved highschool. It was when I first became happy in my own skin and I met my boyfriend whom I'm still with now, 5 years later. I was the queen bee in art club and had a small following of acquaintances which was something considering I was the quiet kid in the corner during middle school. I just tend to assume middle school is hell and highschool was good. It wasn't until my 4th year I wanted to get out. College is better though. More competent people, although I have my own grievances of the social group this particular college cultivates. Highly liberal and closed minded people. It's bizarre how politically highstrung everyone here is but overall at least they're nice and there's always people to talk too. I definately recommend dorm living if you have good friends to dorm with and living on campus is nice, although 2 years in I'm already making plans to live off-campus. It is a lot of work though and it's hard not to be busy. Again, haitus from internet social life. College does come with other stresses too because the fun stuff is impractical career-wise and if you haven't figured out who you are yet it's hell figuring out what classes to take. I've been teetering between Lit and Biology, pleasant and practical. If anything, college does have freedom to offer, and I get the impression that you are the kind of person who would really appreciate freedom and having a tangible reign over your own life. I understand what you say about the 'swag kids.' I may not be a typical 90's kid but I know for certain that the 90's weren't 'swag.' They were cool, which is like swag, only dignified and substantial. I understand your logic though. People don't look for social groups like dragnix. They don't need to, they just join Facebook. In general they're also more interested in the amount of friends and media they can behold rather than in the quality of life such things offer. It's simpler and easier that way. I feel that your right, I guess, about some things but from your discription, high school was fun. Although, my present experience is anything but...and I can't seem to shake that already deliberate mindset once I get to college. Almost overwhelming I could say, so much so that I have created unessisary stress at this time while I truly should be sleeping...my life is oodles of fun i much rather like the old days when this site was active, I meet a lot of people, like catc, silveera, little ol me, and acylus...I guess it can get better though, I just need to find people to be around, and get out of being lonely...my chin is so scruffy! Off topic, oh well...I guess it's the stress and the insomnia, I really need sleep, I'm sure you'll concurr...
