i like the rocking out, but, and dont get me wrong this is just a personal preference, I don't like skulls. Got nothing against them but I dont like them if you know what I mean

@catc: Just a small note here. When posting a link to another image within this gallery, it's preferable to find the picture and then copy/paste the URL displayed in the "File information" since the link displayed in the URL bar after a search contains incomplete data (i.e "displayimage.php?album=search&cat=0&pos=0") so it will only show the correct image on your own computer (and for a limited time).

well, i have officially claimed my title as the kid in class who doesn't do homework, doesnt do classwork, and overall just doesnt care about the class. it is a much more relaxed title than "teacher's pet" which mean doing every homework, straight A's, and if any work is missed everyone's like: OMG what's wrong? were you sick? is there something happening in your social life? we need to get you to a counsellor! 0.0 " i still haven't decided whether i actually like this status or not, but yes, only two years ago i was the teacher's pet, and i think i have quickly gained a new status. geometry (where i claimed my title the "doer of nothing") is now my 'trial run' where i try it and see if i like it. in all of my other classes i am the dumb, quiet one where i at least try to do all my work, but nobody really cares if i do it or not, and i'm overall just ignored.

awws you shouldn't care what others think. what you get grade wise in school now will determine in essence scholarships to pay for colleges and getting the best education for a career. You should do as best as you can and those that call you a teacher's pet because of it are those that will be the people that get hardly anywhere in life because it is them that are actually slacking and probably getting very bad grades. so I say do your work, try hard and forget what others say *nods* trsut me don't fall into that 'i don;t care about school' mood it will definately have an effect in the future I know i regretted it when i was in that mood

well, i'll still keep all my grades high enough to be like a C or a D, i wont actually fail. And it's just this one class, and in all my others i'm trying my best. so don't worry, i'm just trying it out to see if i like it.

I agree with what CatC said, but you don't have to be the "teacher's lackey" to get high grades.

yeah, i know, there's the "good quiet kid" but it's still a helluva lot of trouble when i work to get all the assignments in and upon missing one or two the teacher freaks out and i have to act all tired and be like 'no, nothing's wrong with me, i'm just tired because i stayed up late doing other homework" or make excuses like that.

well you should really try to get b's to get into most colleges one should have a 2.5 i think GPA but a 3.0 is better.... but a few assignments missed is no big deal as long as they aren;t big papers or something...

I've just gotta shove my two cents in here. Nayru, I don't mean to be rude but anyone who knows me knows that I'm blunt...it's just flat-out stupid to refuse to do work. What you do in school now determines pretty much your whole life, since it determines what doors will be open to you later on. If you allow your grades to slip because you think it's too much trouble to keep them up simply due to the fact of simple name-calling, that's really foolish. Think of it this way--D-grades may very well lead to a "D-level" job, leading to a "borderline-F" lifestyle. Living paycheck to paycheck isn't something you wanna do, hun. Don't let things slip because of what others say about you.

@raina: it's not name-calling it just is what it is, and what i do. i'm not bsing any descision off of what people say; i stopped caring a long time ago. i'm going to base my descision on whether i like the trial run. And even if i do like it, i will always keep my grades at a C and at least learn the material.

in my school im the ~quiet kid that does all my work and gets A's and high B's and doesnt get in trouble at all but is not (and doesnt want to be) the teachers pet~ but becuse of that i have a low social status.

I am the shy and quiet kid that knows hardly anyone now in my new school and pretty much no one knows me lol

@Catc: If you want to change that, choose a class that has a lot of good people and a partially laid back teacher and wait for a time when three or more people are openly discussing (whispering in the back of class does not count) and then, for the one day, join the discussion. There are two probable outcomes. One is that they will hate you for talking but if you remain qiuet again they'll forget about you in a matter of weeks. The second is that from then on, if they like you, they will include you in their discussions, asking you questions and such. I accidentally acheived this in english class, by being hyper and rather talkative one day (but thank god I wasn't shouting), and now everyone at my table not only acknowledges my existance, they talk to me and are nice to me. I also try to help them out whenever I can (without giving them the answers) and not once have they disregarded my answers to their questions! So this is another status that I'm trying out, other than trying out the doer of nothing.

well,thats not nice at all... in my class a have a few friends, two of them are fighting over me (which never happend to me before) and today one of them called me and said that they werent friends anymore...i feel horrible, i messed up there friendship, thats what happens when i try to make a few friends. So when i go to school tomarrow i have no idea what to do. i feel really bad, i should have avoided them so they would still be friends...

@Nayru: I am slowly making friends and such but usually I have to observe for some time before I decided whether or not I am talking with someone I don't know.... like for instance if I am in a small group setting I work just fine and those people become what i call classroom buddies @silveera: those mean peoples >:2( *wants to hunt them down and teach them a lesson*

@Catc: yeah, i understand the need to observe first. I've been 'observing' them since august, and only started talking a couple of weeks ago. (i suppose i took a bit too long, but i hadn't really planned on it, it just happened.) @silverwing: that sounds like a very immature thing for a friend to do, so i would say that that isnt a friend worth having, but i'm not the greatest person for advice-giving on deteriorating friendships.

hmmm I had a pair of friends fight before and it was odd at first, but I think you should end any friendship just because another friend is fighting with another... They will work it out amongst the two of them and then all will be good it will just take time

When my friends fought it lasted... over a year, and is still continuing. some of us are not friends anymore.

awws thats sad its sort of teh same with my friends too... ever since we graduated the group has kinda fitered away, one of my friends doesn't even talk to me anymore and the other one barely speaks to me even when we have class together.... but at least i still have one really good friend

I often do and all they do is say hi and thats it. its okay though if they want to notbe friends any more I say wy force them to be I still have a very good friend
