The image has some sort of "canvas" look but I think it's more the result of the image being saved as a 256 colors gif. Though, it gives an interesting effect to the drawing.

@Nayru: When you save an image, you can make it smaller by "cutting" the number of color in it (or because of limitations in the image format, you are limited to a maximum number of color you can use). So instead of having 16.7 millions different colors, you have only 256 to choose from (colors that fall in between are approached or dithered). The 256 colors makes everything really pixelated....wow. I thought that was an issue with resolution, not the number of color possibilities.

The picture is really nice, and the pixel effect îs not a problem, I think it makes a good effect

Yeah, I didn't make a note of the pixelation because I don't think it detracts at all from the picture really.
