Something interesting happened with the syrup. There were sugar crystals growing at the bottom! we were running low on syrup, so I decided to melt the sugar crystals! All that happened was that the sugar crystals proceded to burn, so I added water! The syrup formed by the water and crystals began to crystalize again, and now I have a nice, candy coating on my waffle...
