Alli stood at her computer, staring at the blank screen. She jumped in surprise as the screen blinked to life. She quickly sat in the chair and watched with wary curiosity as her computer loaded. It seemed to have a life of its own. Her internet browser flashed open, then moved to the last site she had visited before she’d fallen into Oran. Dragnix opened, and her hacker flicked through the recent uploads until it reached CM’s silhouette sketch. It then scrolled down to her comment about the torn poem. She looked at the comment below her own, and sat down eagerly. CM had replied to her question. Alli read the comment eagerly, but after felt a sudden chill run down her spine.
