what is there to not agree with? red = blood, orange = fire, yellow= light, green=poison, blue= tears, purple= potion/poison, black = death, white= ghost, brown = dirt, and grey= boring/dull

it depends the "language", colors have different meanings in different domains. There are color codes in heraldic, flags, floral composition...

there's too many connotations to give colors one specific meaning.. red white and blue to the USA is freedom, white and black can be good vs evil. or lend a nostalgic feeling. red itself can have love behind it. blue can be depression or i believe psychologically blue makes u hungry .. but don't quote me on that its been awhile since ive taken color theory. but there's 1205897342 different things that can be applied it just depends on the person

*cough* um, green was just his favorite color, and I pretty much put black with everything. I wasn't really trying for any symbolism.

i associated green with life, red with love and blood, blue with calm and water, orange danger and fire, yellow slow, purple royalty/ power, black evil, white light and purity, brown earth

green = forest, red = fire, blue = water, white = ice, ect. ect.

There are also correspondance with human feelings. Green is for hope, pink for friendship, carmine red for anger, vermillion red for love, black for despair, violet for sadness, gold for joy and happiness, blue for pride, grey for fear, brown for lonelyness, light yellow for jealousy, orange for curiosity, purple for pity and compassion... I don't know for the other colors.

When I think colors I automatically put black for technology, blue for art, and red for media... Of course, that may be because I spend too much time on my forums...
