wow i'm sure it did take you a while! Paint is a stubborn programi like his spikes and the colors. you did i good job with shading and scales esp with paint...

backgrounds can be difficult and i think that it would take away from the foreground, so to me the solid background is better than a detailed one

i found that if i did the cr=urve of each scale in a very quick, curved stroke, it is more likely to look round. i still get some square ones, though...

paper n' pencils great... till you've erased the muck upsso much you put a hole in the paper

i like rally gentle and soft erasers that do the job, but don't leave too many little shavings (i have to get off in just a few minutes. )

I try to get soft erasers, and I try to use my computer to do my drawings instead of paper n' pencil (mainly to stop my mum complaining that I use all the printer paper) (I think I might get off to, my feet are going numb from the freezing temperature of my mum's computer room)

Wow! Great job on the picture Zephyr! Using MS Paint as your medium, this is quite an amazing accomplishment. Still, picture-wise, there are still a few things to work out. The upper claw on the front-fore-leg is too large, as is the back knee. But seriously, great job bending MS Paint to your will, it is far beyond me.

Don't worry, my nickname for the entire program is Microshit Pain, so I bow to any prowess shown in acheiving even a mildly decent picture with said program. And this is way better than "mildly decent"

I learned long ago never to mess with the system, it just took what little drawing skillz I have, chewed them up with a wad of tar-licorice, smoked a couple cigarrettes for smell, digested it, pooped it out, and threw it back in my face. The only real use for that system I have ever found is making a mock torture-chamber for my loveable pickable friend.

I love her, but she's just so darnded fun to pick on! Of course I didn't really mean any of it, but it was kinda fun to show her the torture chamber in progress and see her respond with equally lame forms of destruction for me.

since the fourth grade, when i first secured my wonderful reputation of silly and smart (i actually had good grades back then), i have kept it nice and almost unchanged...ok...maybe a lil different...peeps still consider me smart but they dont know the real grades i get <.< >.> my friends also kno that im not the one to pick a fight with too so i have quite a bit of practice...its all in observing the person ^^ weeeeee im in a talkative mood right now

Being observative is really important with my friends...I have some friends that are quite - touchy - sometimes...I don't know how else to describe it...

I has a friend who will get kinda moody sometimes, so I know when not to pick on her, but all my other friends basically take and give it back in equal proportions. The weird thing about me is that I'm really school smart and stuff, but when it comes to people and social nuances and whatnot I'm really slow. -_-' heh...lol.

I get good grades too, and it's not that I have a hard time finding my niche, it's just that when it comes to being the first or the last to know things, I'm always the last, lol.

I had a bf at one time, but I have no clue if it helped...LOL. We pretty much just dated to have more excuses to hang out. idk...I don't know if there's any chance to have a serious relationship with that guy. But he and I have been best friends for almost four years now...so anywho. He's in no way popular, so I don't think it really helped in the social area - although people picked on us waaay more than usual.

That's generally what happens, lol. Anyway, I've never really cared enough about social status to get a date, and I've never really had a guy who wanted to hang out with me, so I've never had a bf.

Maybe you'll find a decent guy someday and you'll be good friends...in all honesty, that's where it starts. I never really cared about social status too. Idk...it just kinda happened...LOL

the only reason i would care about status, is because i'm so low i have to be careful about speaking up or drawing any attention to myself because everybody hates me already

Heck yes. The lunch table I sit at is full of people like that. I try to reach out to everyone. But I gotta tell you, the conversations we have at the lunch tables are so random! We've got quite a mix...

ah, okay. you might be nice to me in real life, but i dont do well with a large group of people, idk why. somehow i still always feel left out... like i said, idk why

I was the same way for a while...when I was younger I couldn't fit in anywhere. I usually just went and sat under a tree and watched everyone else hang out...that's where I started to really draw. I didn't have anyone, so I retreated inside my head and worked on the only thing I knew I was good at. I hated crowds back then...I'm okay with them now, but when I've had enough contact with people I'll retreat back into my shell and try to be alone for a while. Talking and hanging out with people that aren't my close friends sometimes takes a lot out of me, but I do it anyway.
