Actually, I think that it's about the same size as my entry, and mine's a nice size I find.

Very nice! Wings and head are well done, with a good symmetry (very important in that kind of pictures!) Maybe the sword is just a bit too thick... My entry sould be ready untill next week, I've finished the pastel background.

@Jewel: If you only want to practice symmetry, you can use graph paper, this way it's easy to know if each side is more or less the same. Otherwise you can use faint guidelines; a vertical one in the middle of the character and a 3-4 horizontal ones at the level of elbows, knees, feet, hands, etc...
Well, that how I would do it, not sure if there are other techniques around.

This pic is great...I only have one suggestion: Use a finer pencil so you can have more detail and more defined lines and shading. otherwise, great job!
