'Tis depressing to me that you can draw my character better than me... also I drew my fursona, like, really depressing. (Gorirazu: Its the wolf- weasel I drew at your place) Its just too violent as of right now... but oddly relieveiing.

Jewel, I'm your best friend and I'm going to be honest with you. I really don't have any artistic talent in my family, and I find it horribly that you, someone who has the luxory of one of their family members to help them, being so negative about their pictures. You have your own unique style, as does everyone, but your style had me jealous for YEARS on end, and everytime that I thought that I was better than you, you surpassed the drawing that I had just drawn. That went on like that for a long time, until I realized that if I focused more on my art and not other people's I would become better. Art, it's not necessarily about how good you are, it's about loving your drawings, having fun, drawing for a reason, and just to be different and creative. Aiana and the rest of the Kana clan are definitaley NOT an imitation of the Wolf-Kin. I would never have been able to come up with such a cool idea. I drew you in this pose because I knew that you were depressed.

And which family member is that? Guitar runs in my family, not drawing.

That art isn't about how "good" you are is totally true. I know that there are tons of artists out there who are hundreds of times better than me, but I have to at least be comfortable with what I'm drawing and how I'm drawing right now in order to get better in the future. You have to build confidence in your art and then you'll start to improve faster than you can imagine. c:

I'm just becoming comfortable with my art. I still think it sucks sometimes but I get over it. ;]
