I like the feet! Good all around!
The eye looks 'stuck on' but I love the green tinges in the blue :3 It's very pretty.

(Hello everybody! this pic is good. only thing is that the eye looks kinda flat and stuck on like mars said. *falls over twitching* my grand parents just said that my art is better than raven's!

I enjoy how you did the feet and the head, which the head has a more square head. Also, it is cool how the feathers on the wings are small at the beginning, and then gets longer. It has a distinctly layered feel to it. Now it is time for criticism. The eye is too big to be for the head, and the feet are too small. You need to work on shading, as well. Dragons, as well as many other creatures have distinct muscle build and folds in the skin. However, there is no detail suggesting any of the dragon's anatomy. Wings are never straight like that when relaxed, they are usually folded over. Also, the feathers need shading to give it a fluffy feel. However, overall this is still quite good. :3

I agree with Mars and Nighthawk, but still very good. Also, the eye doesn't have that little sparkle to it.

Oooh sounds pretty! 8D

I realy have to do something about my scanner, it's stuffing up my pictures, ans nighthawk, it is very difficult to shade with a silver pencil when the light keeps ref;ecting in your eyes
Graphite reflects too. You did a pretty good job on the parts you shaded, Nithak just suggests that you define the muscles by shading, instead of just shading around the lines. And I think the pic looks fine, though I'd like to see some of the white space cropped out.
the white spaces to me equalize the pic to make it looked centered.....but backgrounds are nice too...... i like this pic Silveera, and don't worry scanners are evil! *scanner beeps and flashes*
Ehn. The white makes it seem squished to the right side too much. And like Anon said, the pic is fine. I don't see anything wrong in terms of the scanner. Smudges will be there whether you scan or not, and if you think it's grainy then change the settings. If it weren't for scanners and digi cams, you wouldn't be able to send traditional pics in at all.
ya....i guess ur right..... well she was complaining how they don't catch some of the details...... but, ya a background or cropping would be best for a pic.

*nods* I don't kow, I'm just tired of peeps complaining about their scanner... we can see the pic just fine.
i dont use a scanner... i use a digital camera.
Scanners are fine. There is no way to send in a "Perfect" Image of what you did. Digital cameras are the better way to go, for they capture the brilliance of your picture, however digital cameras capture extra junk, like how the light and shadow show on your picture.
And sometimes, if you don't set the focus right, it'll fuzz up your picture. I learned that the hard way. xP
Indeed. So I stick with the scanner, and try to recapture the picture's brilliance in the GIMP.
I try to use a scanner, but it makes the picture way more brighter than it is supposed to be. I think something's wrong with it.
Perhaps. :/ Mine is a good quality, for it comes in a set of a faxer, printer, and of course, the scanner itself. :3
Mine is a printer/scanner/fax macine as well. It is an Epson brand, and it's fairly new, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Oh well... I'll just get my dad to look at it.
Perhaps you should ask a friend of the family's son to take a look. He can fix anything related to technology. :O
mines an HP....well it's not that bad, it does get the details, but everything in my opinion is better in real life. Though people can't see it i real life.....sooooo i guess ur okay little scanner *scanner hums*

I have an HP too! 'Tis a scanner/printer/copier in fact! No matter which one you use, your pic can always be enhanced through programs like Photoshop, GIMP, or a picture managing software like Picasa or Microsoft Office Picture Manager. :3 If it scans too bright just open it up in Picture Manager and adjust the brightness yourself. Scanner's probably fine, though you could also see if you can adjust something in the scanner's preferences.
