Synergy - By i_heart_dragons

Murder! My scanner killed this piece...tore it to bits....anyways, this dragon god was half inspired by Sanctario. It has achieved ultimate enlightenment. Synergy sits on a rock in the river of time, channeling energy from the elemental ring surrounding it.

I wouldn't say that I like detail...more like it makes the picture have more depth, personality, and such....

True. This picture does show the 'grain' of the paper and pencils, but since you say it was your scanners' fault. . . *shrugs* You missed a bit of gold trim on the dragon's skirt. As well that the cloth is quite flat. You might want to try adding folds and such. . . it gives the cloth more depth, personality, and such. Besides that, excellent detail.

yep. the color was very smooth. I'd been practicing and I was going to show it off in this pic. Also, the wings had been a red-orange transitioning to a lighter orange. The cloth was goint to have some wrinkling but it wouldn't turn out so I nixed it. the gold is missing from a mistake while tracing with the balloint pen. It's great that you are being critical. Not many people do that to me...they're just like 'wow cool great' then they walk away. I'm always like hello? what cou8ld i do better? where can I improve! so thanks. (though noone dislikes nice comments, everybody Wink

There's another one that's after that, it's about a Majere monk, and the god's return. It's also about Mina again. It's not finished yet, but a lot about Mina is discovered, and boy will it blow your socks off! It's really cool, tho. Cool

@JD ya, i mention the wings in comment 16. they were a red orange transitioning to lighter orange. I had painstakingly colored those transitions yet the scanner changed the color and weirded out the shading/exposure. I tried to fix it in hp photosmart and this was the best I could do. *sigh* Sad
