Red Dragon (Acrylic) - By Kelsey Kwolek

I just decided to drop by. uhh, I'm sure you remember the other "Red Dragon" piece, well this is just the same thing, only in acrylic. my second acrylic piece so far for my art class and my first concentration of AP. I'm the only one who thinks that the harsh gold lighting was unnecessary....my original idea was of a dragon with soft, velvety scales...not hard, shiny ones....but the red and black wasn't contrast enough so I gave into my teacher's persistence. The iris was a pain to do also....but I do still kinda like it

Yeah new pictures! This is splendid, and the gold lighting makes a really good effect. Great picture!

Hmm...well, I can understand what you mean about the lighting, Kelsey, but I don't think it looks bad at all; I actually think it's gorgeous! Well done!

I actually really like the gold highlights. C: And because of the acrylic, they still look 'velvety'. Wonderful job on the color and detail. <3
